This young man’s last statement, of “Turn-key Tyranny”, in the video was haunting to me. The faces of the politicians change, the party affiliations as well, but the leviathan buearacracy remains and does all it can to protect itself. How does a free people looking to safeguard their liberty and the promise of our founding principles battle such a behemoth with tentacles throughout the country at every level of government & society? We can change politicians and the unelected bureaucrats will still be there, waiting to co-opt them. The greatest wealth in this country is concentrated around the D.C. area. They’ve gotten fat off our the labors of the people they take advantage of and use the trappings to ensnare limited government reformers who come to town.

We need a crop of elected representatives ready to put blinders on, go into Washington possessed and on a mission to slash and burn government down to a manageable size.

A free republic requires a government afraid of the people. We no longer have that.
