Jesus was a great historical figure who spread an amazing message of peace, tolerance, and love. Unfortunately, there was nothing divine about him. Yes, he existed, bu no, he was not the son of your god.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, the everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 14:7-11 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
8. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9. Jesus saith unto him, have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
11. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
2 Cor 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Would I LIKE either of those? No. Would I say you don’t deserve to fly them, threaten to steal them, burn then, assault you or damage your property? Nope. I’d accept that there are people with differing opinions on thsi planet and accept it like I already do.

Freedom of speech. You love it when you can criticize and spread your opinions, but as soon as someone has a differing opinion they’re not allowed to express it. Gotta love you people, this is the best source for the lowest of humanity on the internet.
If I have a flag with a swastika and the presidents face on it, would your comment be the same?
Bet you wouldnt be saying that if Bush's face was on the flag.

Funny, because I live in the same area and I can say this this part of the state is very liberal. Just goes to show you people only see what they want to see.

I wear a hoodie. I’m a white, law-abiding citizen. I pay my taxes. I go to medical school. I’ve dedicated my life to helping other people. What’s wrong with that?
Well good for you, careful not to pull a muscle patting yourself on the back!

I’m an atheist, I don’t care, let the religious have their prayer. Atheism has quickly gone from “the lack in a belief in a higher power” to “a belief in a lack of a higher power” and comes with a need to prove it to others. People need to get over it. Doing this makes us no better then the religious who try and force their way of life upon us.

Y’all will turn anything political. I was making a joke and you jump all over me. Huh, what else was I expecting?

How very Christian of you, criticizing and wishing death on another. I feel a Gandhi quote coming up.
“I like your Christ. I dislike your Christians. They are nothing like your Christ.”
"The blast occurred in Potrero, a community of about 700 people on the Mexican border, about 40 miles east of San Diego. In 2008, military contractor Blackwater Worldwide pulled plans for training facility there after voters recalled five members of a planning board who supported the project."
What does this have to do with a story about a man who killed his girlfriend. “It’s the government that needs to be reprimanded and changed." It happened over 4 years ago.
Write another article about the history of Blackwater pulling plans for a training facility. Good grief!
Obama > Jesus
In Britain the have banned guns, swords & knives. A liberal bans one category of objects after another & yet violence persists. The other way is to give a people a moral up bringing.
Obama > Jesus? Well the donations from overseas are not coming in this year like they did in 2008. I guess the magic is fading. The lies are exposed.
Libya liberated >>> Soon to be 3 countries
Syria >>> Population massacred
Iraq >>> Civil War & massacres.
Afghanistan >>> A place where you will never be found, because you dare not travel there. It will be Taliban fiefdom. Your Dear & Great Leader has made it known that he will turn tail, tuck his tail between his legs & run.
Personally, I would like to a tourist in Afghanistan. There are all sorts of archeological ruins, Tochariian, Greek-Bactrian, Sogdaghian, ... Then their are the current peoples & cultures. But i can't. The liberals have left the world a shambles.
Yeah they are much more deadly than armed minorities. Dumba55 at least most "trailer trash, rednecks" whatever slur you want to use know how to use weapons safely and if a conflict has to turn physical they use they're hands unless someone else brings a weapon.
Let's all make conjectures about his political beliefs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Y'all will turn anything political. I was making a joke and you jump all over me. Huh, what else was I expecting?
Who can take one serious that has "Obama>Jesus" as there screen name?

Two of the greatest men in American History together… This is going to be something for the ages.
Oh Yeah, for the ages.
Bubba will get 'em pregnant and odumbo will abort them. Great men, for sure. When you die and meet Jesus for your eternal evaluation, I hope He takes your stupidity as a joke for your sake, you sacriliges dumb a$$.
Something for the ages? Are you kidding me. There won't be enough oxygen in the room for these lib-gasbags to show up together. They will always have to appear in outside venues. Obummer will have to make sure that BJ doesn't hog the mike also. This is going to be funny.
This is Dr. Brown calling.......our records indicate that you are overdue for your lobotomy. Please contact our office asap and our secretary will set up an appointment. Thank you.

“I, do solemnly affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;” these are the words all servicemen and women speak when joining the armed forced. He was an enemy to the United States, and actions were taken to ensure he could not harm any of its citizens. I fail to see the problem with his killing.
Because he was a citizen of The United States of America. The Constitution guarantees this man a fair trial. Holder is telling us that because International Law allows him to violate the Constitution, that it was okay for our government to do what they did. International Law does not trump our Constitution. Yes, he was with Al-CIA-duh. Yes, it's possible that he was responsible for many deaths, including US soldiers. But he still deserves a trial. When you and I are declared enemies of the US, we would be so lucky to have a fair trial, as well.

The licenses looks like the hijacker… but does anyone else think the hijacker looks a bit like Christopher Walken?

“Now, about this “karma” thing…
It’s a bunch of new-age religious nonsense, and worked its way into our lexicon.”
Actually, “Karma” stems from the Hindu belief of the cycle of cause and effect, and dates back more than a thousand years before your Christ. In fact, Hinduism itself dates back to about 1500 BCE, where as Judaism (which Christianity is a break off cult from) doesn’t begin until about 535 BCE.

As an atheist and an outspoken critic of religion and the religious… I see nothing wrong here. All this girl is trying to do is catch a few minutes in the limelight, stir up some controversy, and possible make some money on the side. If the school chooses not to run her article, it’s their choice. It’s really not a big deal.
February 17, 2012 at 10:34am
Care to explain how I’m ignorant? If you can’t then you’re opinion (and I use that word lightly) holds no grounds.

It doesn’t represent me, for my deity is a female. It doesn’t represent Buddhists or Atheists, for they have no “Heavenly Father,” nor Hindus, Wiccans, or Pagans, because they have many gods. If you want to respect everyone’s beliefs, then you should represent ALL of them, not just Christians. Wee Jas never even gets so much as mention in any of these.
February 17, 2012 at 10:25am
Isn’t it funny how he’s running on his RELIGIOUS beliefs, and if elected would impose laws based on his RELIGIOUS beliefs. Isn’t that what many of you are afraid Islam would do?
February 17, 2012 at 10:20am
That is why religion is both the most beautiful and most disgusting thing on earth. How many people have been killed in the name of a god? I have no problem with religion, just the religious.
February 17, 2012 at 10:16am
Can I borrow a tinfoil hat from you? I’m afraid govment trying to read my brain.

Please, if this girl was fighting to get a copy of the Qur’an banned and won, you’d be praising her name to your nonexistent god.
There is no higher power other than science and Wee Jas.
No, but had she fought to have a pray representing every faith of every student displayed I would have supported her.
What happened to diversity?
What happened to respecting anothers beliefs, even to believe there is only the Void as you do?
Why has the left changed from the peace and love of the "60's" to Archy Bunkers of intolerance?

You really should read the first line of my reply I did say, " had she fought to have a prayer representing every faith of every student displayed I would have supported her."
So what's your objection?
