Wow, you really don’t get it do you? You are actually that oblivious. That’s amazing to me. It’s pretty much spelled out in the article already, but I guess expecting you to actually read the article would be too much.

The reason those seats would be in danger is because they are HELD by voter fraud which is abetted by section 5. If you get rid of section 5, those states will be allowed to pass laws reducing voter fraud, ergo, the seats would be in danger.

In any case, having the federal government police a state on a matter like voting laws is not only unconstitutional, it’s just a really bad idea. Assume for a moment that Republicans are in power in Washington. Does any one think for a moment that they would allow a state to change their voting laws in such a way that would precipitate more blacks to vote? They would strive to keep illegals from voting too, but they would do it for the wrong reason. How about Democrats? Are they every going to allow a change that suppresses voter fraud? No, it’s not going to happen because they’re all snakes without a shred of honesty or integrity.

I want Obama impeached as much as the next guy, but what good would it do to start impeachment proceedings? Those that did so would just be committing political suicide, and the Senate would never convict.

Like it or not, Obama is immune from impeachment, and all we can do is minimize the damage for the next 4 years, and wait for someone to be elected that might destroy the country with slightly less enthusiasm.

It’s that or civil war. Pick your poison.

  • Actually, you’re supposed to push it twice after each sentence. Once after each comma though! ;D

Also, I just noticed that you called me a liberal. Let me see if I can follow your twisted chain of logic here:

Hate Windows == Love Apple == Liberal.

Wow, that’s a logical leap that only a TRUE liberal could make.

Nice to see you making assumptions about someone you know absolutely nothing about. How intelligent and enlightened of you! The fact that you assumed that I’m an OSX fan because I made a joke about Windows, shows how little you truly know about computers. Had you been a learned person, you would know that there are several other operating systems out there that could be my OS of choice. Try clicking on my user name and looking at my past posts. It’s not hard. Maybe you’d learn something. Or even better, try getting a sense of humor.

For your information, and you would know this had you bothered to learn something about me before unleashing your pathetic attempt at trolling, I use several different operating systems every day. I’ve been a software developer for somewhere between 19 and 24 years now, depending on exactly how you count it.

So let me educate you a little here, since you clearly need it. Windows is, and always has been, a terrible operating system. It’s full of hacks, and glued together technology that open the user to malware and information theft. From a software development point of view, there is nothing worse to work with than Windows, which is why the software written for it is so bad and insecure.

OSX is better, but I still don’t like it. It’s not very intuitive for me. So, before you go mouthing off again, take a break and have a hot cup of STFU.

    Thanks!

  • Umm, he did! :D

  • Good. Maybe the next HOA will think twice before trying to squelch someone’s free speech simply because they don’t agree with the content.

  • No no no no NO! Stupid politicians just don’t get it! While I would like for every person to read Atlas Shrugged, since I think it’s a great book and is quite thought provoking, every person should be free to make the choice whether or not to read it. Rather, each school should be free to make it required reading or not. Legislating that all kids have to read it kind of goes against the very principle of the book itself.

    Bah!

  • I agree with this man on most of what he says, but I still don’t understand how a flat tax is more fair than a graduated income tax. No, I understand all the usual arguments about paying a larger percentage just because you earn more, and how that is unfair. It’s also unfair though, if I only make $20,000 to pay $2000 in taxes, when a person that makes $1,000,000 a year pays $100,000. In other words, 10% hurts more the less you make.

It’s my opinion that any and all forms of income tax are unfair. It seems to me that the only solution is to get rid of the income tax and assume a consumption tax. In other words, I’m talking about the fair tax model. The logistics of the model as it stands right now might be a little rough, but it sure seems more fair to me than taxing income.

The difference is that the waterboarding was done to those squishy, adorable cheeky terrorists! These are evil American citizens we’re talking about here!
