SocialistSlayer, you obviously are not aware that President Obama has taken fewer vacation days than most recent presidents. As of August, Obama had taken about 60 days on vacation. The man who took the fewest was Bill Clinton at 28 vacation days. Reagan spent over 400 days on vacation however the it is George W Bush who holds the record. He spent about 1020 days on vacation. That is 1/3 of his presidency – more than any other president in history. I sure do not remember any outrage from the right about that.

I would like to suggest that anyone here who is responsible for hiring people or signing contracts please do a search on the social media sites to find out just who you might be doing business with. I can assure you I will not give a dime to anyone who continues to make excuses for child molesters and those that cover up their crimes.

So now calling someone that covered up hundreds of cases of child abuse and molestation is hateful? The fact remains, the vatican did exactly that, transferring priests to new locations rather than discipline them. Anyone that thinks criminals like that should not be held accountable is complicit in their crimes.

biohazard23: Your claim that people would not say the same things to Muslim clerics has no factual basis. In fact, were the the spiritual leaders of Iran or the mullahs in Afghanistan to actually get a twitter, I guarantee they would receive far more inflammatory things. There is nothing about those tweets to indicate those people are atheists. All they seem to be are people that have an issue with the rampant child abuse and molestations that seem to be ingrained in the catholic church. The vatican covered up hundreds of cases of abuse by priests and transferred many to new places instead of disciplining them.

Then you have people like Father Benedict Groeschel, director of the Office for Spiritual Development for the Catholic Archdiocese of New York, who wrote an opinion piece for the National Catholic Register calling Jerry Sandusky a “poor guy” and blaming the victims of sexual abuse. There is a major sickness in these spiritual leaders. Anyone that does not feel that someone so complicit in such crimes does not deserve to criticized is complicit in them as well. They, as well as the Nazi pope, should be behind bars.

Cavallo: Moron. First of all, it was the Taliban in Afghanistan that destroyed the Buddhist statues, not the Muslim Brotherhood. Secondly, that story about destroying the pyramids was a hoax. Even if someone tried to, they are not going anywhere. They have stood virtually indestructible for nearly 5000 years and they will continue to stand far longer than mankind will.
