  No, the Mark of the Beast has nothing to do with a Roman Emperor or the numerical number total of his name. Concerning the Beast-666, Jesus told Brother John that this Beast was a previous World ruler, who was currently dead at the writing of the Book of Revelation in 95-96 AD. Jesus said, “The Beast that you saw “was” and “is not”, (meaning that he was dead and ruled in the past); he said. “Five are fallen and one is” and two more were to arise, of which Adolf Hitler was the 7th. But, the Beast, who is to come out of the Abyss-the bottomless pit, is actually one of the dead previous five total World rulers.

  I believe the Beast-666 is none other than Alexander the Great.

  We have arrived to the period of the endtimes that the Apostle Paul was writing and informing Brother Timothy about in his letter to him in 2nd Timothy 4:3-4. The “Truth” is under attack from the enemy.

  2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
  2 Tim 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

  My take on this being a Marine veteran, is that this is, much-a-do-about-nothing. This is PC gone a muck and who really cares. These guys really don’t mean anything by this picture.
