  • Some politicians do not understand the phrase “law abiding citizens”. There is a difference between criminals that use firearms for crime and citizens that use firearms for self defense. But when you are a politician trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the misinformed prospective voter, you tend to tell big lies. Now, after we listen to the news lately, does anyone think our political leaders would dare lie to the American honest law abiding citizens?

  • Sad day anybody is harmed. But was the National Rifle Association of law abiding citizens having a firearm match at New Orleans and it got out of hand or was the shooting the results of a cultural difference within a neighborhood? I hope the local government investigates and the reason for the shooting is clarified by the local media.

  • Senator Weinberg and her uninformed opinions (stupid opinions) further solidifies the belief patriotic Americans are under attack from those intent on destroying the American belief that this nation was built on hard work, freedom which includes the right of firearm ownership for the prevention of an out of control government. Yes, there are many government leaders around the world still ruling with an iron fist such as we seen in Hitler. Many say the days of an out of control leader in America is not possible. Tell that to the people of Germany, Cuba, many Africa countries and many countries in the middle east. It only takes one leader with the wrong Ideology and a main stream media supporting that leader to get us all in deep doo doo. Have a great day.

  • Don’t laugh at this home. Its a sign of the future down sizing required if our world is to support all of the inhabitants. Also learn to ride a bicycle. We just have to get our elite government leaders to down size accordingly.

  • Bottom line, this nation’s problem is no jobs available for the younger generations. Every illegal crossing our borders requires a job. Our American young could use those jobs. You say, our kids will
not do roofing, farm labor, construction, military or yard work, I did all of these to survive in my youth. If your hungry and need a bed you will do any kind of work if your government food stamps, welfare check or momma’s help dries up. Our elected officials have failed miserable in solving our problems. Fire them all!

  • If the teaching of America history was taught in our nation’s schools, CBS would probably not dishonor the 50,000 American military killed in the Vietnam war. To that generation that served honorably while volunteering or being drafted into our military, thanks for your service. May the political leaders making the war decisions during the Vietnam war be made to remember the lives they destroyed, the families they tore apart and the miseries they caused for this nation. Politicians always ride off into the sunset with their wealth and government retirement checks forgetting the hurt they created.

  • We hear much about “back ground checks”. Our present firearm purchase system controlled by the Federal government already does back ground checks on all citizens wanting to purchase a new firearm. This system has been in effect for many years. Does the federal government admit to incompetent, inefficient doing the job of back ground checks? Will another government back ground check change anything? Question: does honest law abiding citizens misuse firearms or does the criminals who do not purchase firearms legally misuse firearms? Americans, take notice before you lose your freedom of self protection.

  • To a sensible honest law abiding citizen, owning a firearm whether it is a black, brown, green, semi-automatic, double barreled or bolt action firearm is much like buying insurance for the family. It allows most responsible citizens to sleep better at night knowing their family can and will be protected if an intruder uses that 10 inch slot screw driver to gain entry into their home. When the U.S. government elected officials deny the right of firearm ownership or place road in front of the honest law abiding citizens right for self protection, it is time for the people to make some drastic election choices next election. God Bless America and Winchester.

  • If a firearm is not a defensive weapon, ask the hundreds of people around Big Bear who rushed down to their gun shops and purchased a self defense firearm just in case of running into Mr. Dorner. These anti-firearm idiots are all brain washed or just plain ignorant.

  • Read the book twice. Great read. One of those books you tend to believe. All Americans need to read this book, analize it, digest it and form their own opinion to its source. I would agree to the opinion of the authors that government agencies do not talk to each other much like departments in big companies do not communicate with other departments. I think the act of working together to solve either a government problem or a company problem is a lost skill. We all sit in front of a computer or TV too much and talk too little with our fellow family members, friends and fellow workers.
