Community organizers are great at organizing protests, riots and handing out tax dollars. What did you expect from this President?

  • March 1, 2014 at 10:49am

The President of the United States is elected to serve the entire population.. President Obama’s plan to help the minority young blacks is definitely needed but why not include all young people needing help in their struggle in this bad economy, lack of jobs and unsecure in their future’s. Just helping a select group could be in this case considered a plan to seek votes from a certain group.. Just my two cents worth. Have a great day and don’t forget to vote in 2014.

Getting up set because a performer is wearing an empty gun holster is much like my eight year old grand boy getting sent to the principles office for pointing his finger at the hall ceiling and saying bang, bang. Our anti-firearm/freedom haters are definitely a little (lot) crazy in the head.

I question whether our US elected politicians realize a job is required for a citizen to feel useful, needed, secure loved and happy. And yes, a job to provide a person’s food, clothing and housing is required. If the CBO predictions that Obama Care will end 2 million jobs by 2017 are correct that train wreck is going to destroy many lives. I witness many welfare recipients demoralized as they shove that vision card towards the cash register person. Our failed system is being lead by non-thinking idiots.

What is the most often left item in a motel? Yes, a firearm. This proves the importance people put on their security/safety when traveling in unfamiliar territory. Is it against the law to forget and leave your personal protection device in a motel room? Not in most states that have reasonable governing bodies and sensible political beliefs. Question: would a personal protection device make you feel safer while traveling?

Buying and learning to use a good firearm is much cheaper and more reassuring than purchasing an expensive insurance policy. What’s a good nights sleep worth? The 2014 election cycle should be an interesting event.

All patriotic Americans should read Dakota Meyer’s book, “Into The Fire”. It is a humbling book wrote by a warrior (Dakota Meyer) explaining war in real terms. It would be nice if all our elected officials would read this book before sending young men and women into futile combat. The US foreign policy would probably head into another direction. Thank you Dakota Meyer for your service to our nation, may you have a long and happy life.

Thank you ******* Barrel for re-examining your ideology and business practices! I eat at your restaurant at least twice a week and I am too old to look for another excellent restaurant. Thank you.

There is hope! I was in a McDonalds restaurant Friday during Obama’s lengthy speech and looking at the 30 some odd customers there only one lady in a far corner of the room was actually watching the speech. I think America is waking up to this fraud.

Having read the book “Lone Survivor” twice I recommend the book and am looking forward to viewing the movie. I wish all patriotic Americans would read the book. The book makes one realize just how lucky our nation is when such men and women volunteers to serve in our military in order to preserve our way of life and freedoms. It is very humbling to read this book. Yes, less than one percent of citizens serve in our military but that one percent is the back bone of our nations liberty and freedoms.

Bottom line, as our elected government officials ignore the fact our economy and employment opportunities are going south and the smart citizens realize they need more safety devices in which to protect their nation, community and family. The 2nd amendment was put in place for a reason and is still an important reason in which citizens can sleep better at night. Lets start examining the mental health of people more closely which does not include more firearm laws.

And Mr. Grayson is one of our brilliant elected officials doing our business in Washington D.C. Does everyone realize we are in deep doo doo. These people couldn’t run a pop corn stand at the local theater for a profit. I wish 2014 would hurry up!

History does not entrust the care of freedom to the weak or timid. Spoken by Dwight D. Eisenhower, General and President of the US of A.

I feel very sorry for those people who are scared of firearms. These same people probably never served their nation in the military, these same people are probably scared of two lane roads, these same people are probably scared of the dark, these same people are scared of shopping late at night, these same people are probably scared of loud noises. Yes, I do feel sorry for these people who live in a non-secure world and are afraid to step forward and protect their family, community or nation. I wish I too could live in a safe make-believe world but in reality there is no such kind make-believe world in which to live. If past Americans were all afraid, we all would be living in caves under the ground.

Firearm enthusiasts realize the anti-firearm crowd wants total confiscation of all firearms. Why, I guess they are insecure or believe in communist government control. The Guns & Ammo owners must realize those of us spending our hard earned money for their magazine wants to read about firearms and not about political leanings toward firearm confiscation. Dick have a great retirement.

Flash mob shopping seems to be the norm in some areas of the country. If you do the crime, you need to do the time. Stores need to install more cameras and identify and prosecute those persons robbing them. Most businesses cannot absorb this type of crime. If stores find themselves in areas that encourage this crime they need to shut their doors and turn the areas into waste lands.

John Barton is a very good person in my opinion. Would he make a great U.S. Senator? Probably would. Does he have the qualifications for running for U.S. Senator. No! American politics has reached the twilight zone. If you are not hard core, a little arsenical, a little killer instinct in your body you probably will fail in your goal to change anything in Washington D.C. In other words, John is too good of a person to run for a political office. I think our goose is cooked.

Serving in the defense of our nation is a mind set. A warrior respects tradition and the warriors that served before them. The Marine cover should be left alone. This “transform” should not be included in the Obama overall transition plan.

As California Rep. Nancy Pelosi said, we have to pass the Obama Care Bill in order to find out what is in the bill. Nancy, we now know the Obama Care Bill is flawed in many ways. And your political friends have requested waivers and were granted. Yes, we now know what is in the Obama Care Bill. I suspect it will hurry our country down the old “transform America” path and “redistribute the wealth” path. Great job Nancy.
