Who listens? Catholics, and everybody else who strives to follow Christ. You may dislike Pope Francis’ personality, but to disparage him for leading the Church and the world to love like Christ, well that my brother is a slap in the face to the Son Himself. Peace be with you.

Use your mind and bite your tongue. Childish misinterpretations like yours are of no importance to us. Peace be with you, brother.

Because an omnipresent god who controls everything wouldn’t be a loving god at all. He lets us have free will and figure things out for ourselves (with some divine providence at times) because He wants us to have control over how we live our lives. A god who doesn’t let you choose your way is pure will, and reason would suggest that you avoid such a deity. The one true God lets us screw up. Much like a good parent lets their child make mistakes, so He lets us make ours. He can do whatever he’d like, and for the moment He lets us have life; sounds like a pretty loving God to me.

The restaurant owner can admit or deny whomever he wants, based on whatever criteria he wants, no government can ever lawfully restrict private enterprise from operating in such a fashion. However, when a despicable occurrence such as this occurs, it is up to the People to speak out and wage backlash against such an establishment. Government is not the answer, boycotting in a capitalistic society is.
