@AMDATME, please re-think your opinion. You are not entitled to say your opinion unopposed when you are so misinformed.

These guys may get a thrill out of doing what they do, but do not do it for the thrill. Tim collected data by putting himself in harms way that could and would never have been collected by conventional means like you say. Every bit of data they get puts another piece in the puzzle to be able to have longer and longer warning times. In the last decade alone, what Tim has done for storm prediction has helped save countless lives in the form of early warning. So, for you to imply that his death was a result of his selfish thrill seeking is insulting and ridiculous. All of the storm chasers out there will say how much they respected Tim and his insistence on only professionals and meteorologists be in the field because of the dangers involved in data collection. What happened to him, his son and his friend is a tragedy and should be left at that.

I hope that when you leave this earth you will do it doing what you love to do…and that what you love to do may be as important as what Tim was doing for his country and for science.

Your use of ‘possible’ and ‘probable’ I think are reversed. In order for something to be probable, it must first be possible, then if it is impossible, it is also improbable. Also, astronomers have already began to calculate hundreds of stars within our galaxy with planets in the Goldilocks zone,.. and now with new data from Keplar they are calculating that maybe even as many as 10s of thousands of others could be present. So, if you do the math, one could with confidence, not science fiction, assume that the universe is ‘teeming’ with life…in many wild and wonderful forms.

This is what they do when they want attention, liberals…geez

This was shot in front of a green screen at Sandy Hook and she is a FEMA actor. DEBUNKED!

If he held the shotgun like that, I can guarantee that he only shot it once, just for the picture. He has the **** right up against the crease of his upper bicep and deltoid muscles. After one or two shots, his arm was probably numb and useless for a couple of hours. I learned this the hard way, learning to instead hold the shotgun more perpendicular to the body, with the **** against the deltoid and pectoral muscles. This is why the stock and grips are as close as they are, so you don’t have to hold it like a rifle…and suffer the agony.

Sorry there is no waking people. There are some that may be unsure of what they stand for, but I have a hard time believing that there are very many people that can be turned. It is absolutely, 100%, us against them. I agree with some of the posts that force may be the only way to secure our liberties…I’m just not sure of the ‘when’. When is it too late to do anything? In my mind, it is definitely at the point that I am unarmed. So, is the breaking point in this country AT confiscation or Before confiscation? What is really troubling is that seeing the trends of the policies and brainwashing through the media, confiscation is the next push…

This is what happens when you ban penguins from carrying guns.

I think as long as the information isn’t threatening to National Security, then they should be encouraged by anyone, seeking the truth to release it. The Gov likes to use that stamp of National Security as a way of hiding things, which without the proper scrutiny can be abused in the worst ways.

For those Christians that seem to believe that their faith requires a close mind on the population of the Universe, I feel sorry for you to place those limits on the Almighty. How egocentric to believe that all of This was created for our amusement. For those that believe that God is some sort of being from another planet…stop watching Scyfy until you grow up and get an adult grasp on your imagination. New research has unlocked possibilities of a vast number of dimensions and possibly other Universes other than the one we hardly know anything about. Just in our own Milky Way Galaxy, there are billions of planets that could possibly support life. Do the math, with literally trillions of galaxies, millions of them larger than our own, with billions of their own “Goldy Locks” planets…I’m certain we are not alone. But, when we put these labels on God, we put the requirement that in order for God to exist, we must exist…so foolish. The same God that created us and ‘breathed’ the stars into existence, wove the dimensions into the elegant mystery they pose for the smartest among us. We will never understand what we think we have figured out, so why not just marvel at it?

Too bad he couldn’t make the audio disappear…at 1:41 he reaches into his left pocket with his left hand and pulls the gum pack out then as he acts like he’s looking at something on the table you can hear the pack of gum hit the table as he tossed it.

Reminds me of Geraldo standing in front of the gates of the White House with all the young communists gathered together cheering Obamacare.

  • November 3, 2012 at 5:37pm

Geraldo is an absolute moron, who knows nothing about the military and even less about politics. He sat there and actually said that the reason they didn’t respond was because they thought the worst was over? But yet Ambassador Stephens’ body wasn’t recovered from the Lybian hospital for 7 hours… but in the same breath he says that they rescued the 30 people from the consulate and were taking fire all the way to the Annex and continued in a fire fight until the next attack? Does he not hear himself speak and how it makes no sense. He so wrapped up in defending his beloved liberal savior, that he doesn’t realize how out of touch with reality he is… it is really bordering on insanity.

I think this photo is staged… the guy on the left looks like the Oracles body guard on the Matrix movie.

Best post TOM K. Very funny.

What is really scary, is after we vote the Liar in Chief out, we still have to deal with the millions that voted him in.

“The work begins anew, the hope rises again and the dream lives on.” Can they say anything, ever, that has any substance? They live their lives on emotion and ideology (which is based on their emotion); this is why they fall apart in any discussion with facts, and resort to bending the truth into a “he said, she said”, then flat out lies, then name calling and talking over anyone that states facts.

  • September 2, 2012 at 3:08pm

Did we forget the famous “I did not have sexual relations with that woman”? Selective memory, the left seems to have. Typical propaganda and distractions. Someone should immediately put a collection of lies told by the left and strike back quickly, because negativity seems to always affect the poll #’s on the right, but never budge the left’s poll #’s.

“better than steroids” is a reach. Makes sense that they would make the claim after they have a product already on the market. The benefits of steroids are many, including the changes to the body’s hydration, protein syntheses and cortisol absorption. The downsides are obvious… so don’t do steroids. ;)

We mere humans are capable of doing what he is claiming, especially the US military. Many of the weapons systems that are developed and used in training, are not used in warfare… I don’t understand why, maybe political, but I witnessed weapon systems that could obliterate a battalion armor force very easily and quickly, deployed by artillery…yet isn’t used even in the recent campaigns. For some reason, we downplay the might of the US arsenal, instead focusing on stuff like drones and armor, (drones have been around for 20 years or more BTW). I also know that sophisticated energy pulse systems were very much a part of the arsenal in the 60′s especially for higher altitude use, so if White Sands were the deployment site in this supposed situation, then 10-12 years turnaround to unit field testing isn’t too unusual.

“Across the plains of Texas” we will not put up with that crap. NY needs to get back to patriotic roots.
