Hey Allegiance — help me understand what president Obama actually did when he visited? How did he help? How did his visit help the people? What has he done since his visit 11 days ago? Has he even mentioned Sandy in 11 days? Has he returned? Has he reached out to the thousands of people fighting for food, electicity or heat? Has he been on TV with a press conference on how to help? Or what the government is doing to help? I know you know the answer here. I’m assuming he’s too consumed with his CIA’s resgnation over extra-martial affairs and a international cover-up over Benghazi, or maybe he’s thinking too much about the financial cliff caused by his exhuberant spending, or maybe about the 2nd recession that’s right around the corner, or maybe he’s focused on verbally beating up anyone with a different opnion. Or maybe he felt he could gain politically by being a predator of a natural disaster and he was (and its a fact) losing in all polls at the time. Its obvious and I hope you can wake up one day to realize.

He can say its all for the people and his city, but Chris Christie did it for one reason and one reason only — to help himself in his re-election bid. He put the republican party aside for his own good — this is fact. So now we have people in line for gas, no electricity or heat for 11 days and looting everywhere. Why is he not asking this wonderful president for help now and where is the president now? Where is he when people actually need him. Also, what did he actually do for the city when the storms hits…..fly in, get some photo opps, and leave. Everything was so politicized by these 2, but then romney gets slammed for trying to put donations in a box.
Your entire post proves that you haven't the slightest notion of what went on in NJ after the Hurricane. And when you don't have the facts my dear, you should never open your trap. I live in South Orange, NJ and I know exactly what happened here. You don't have to agree with the president, but don't dismiss my state, the trur political view point of why he thanked the president. So take youragedy and the help it received. You may not live here and see this as a place that needed Christie, but we do. And we do not share your politicized comments about why the his state needed FEMA and the Red Cross with out red tape and we got it. Mitt Romney can go to hell. It was not about dem or repubs, it was about a govenor doing for all of the citizens of NJ. Do you thin k the dems in NJ would have liked it Christie would have shown no gratitude to Obama. Wake the helu are fighting a losing battle.l up crazy, yo
