  If people can get to South Jersey, Hammonton, Berlin, Winslow, there are no gas lines here, the electriticty has never been out, and the trees still have their foliage. It does not look as if a storm even went through here.

  In the early 1800s, two huge hurricanes hit a tiny NY City and sent a tidal surge over the wall (the height of the Wall Street sign today) when we were experiencing what would be called Dickensian winters (a la A Christmas Carol) and were those caused by global warming?
