Gitmo Detainees in the States? Gov’t Study Says U.S. Jails Could Handle Inmates if Famous Prison Were Shut Down
November 30, 2012 at 10:45am
What are the OBJECTIVE reasons supporting closure of Gitmo? I see a lot of downside and little upside. It is a political distraction causing us to waste time NOT addressing the real problems of the day.

Are Christians Doing Enough to Help the Poor?

It would be very interesting to see similar stats for other nations/cultures. My impression is Muslim countries support charity to a lesser degree than America… but I’d like to know the facts before drawing any conclusions. Same with France and China, for that matter.

Sen. Schumer Gloats That the Tea Party Is ‘On The Descent’ and That’s a ‘Good Thing’
November 16, 2012 at 10:22am
Arrogance… this is why our country needs to rid itself of CAREER POLITICIANS.
No, the PEOPLE of the Tea Party have not changed their minds, but the amorphous group may be adding new (and unexpected) dimensions. (Just like some of those liberal organizations that NEVER seem to go away, always popping up under a different name.) Here’s an example of a movement that is FACING DOWN THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
Colorado recently passed an amendment legalizing marijuana. Whether you support it or not, THIS ISSUE has all the earmarks of a “tea party” type of movement…

Leaked: Audio of Mitt Romney Explaining to Donors Why He Lost Election — And Guess What Bill Clinton Told Him
November 16, 2012 at 10:09am
Bill spoke the truth… it’s painfully obvious the government spends a lot of money on various programs with the expectation of continued support of the recipients of those programs. That’s just the natural way things work… but the problem is:
BIGGER GOVERNMENT means smaller citizen
The Federal gov MUST be reigned in… and it won’t be easy. Colorado recently passed an amendment legalizing marijuana. Whether you like it or not, THIS ISSUE may be one way to get the ball rolling…

S.E. Cupp vs. Liberal Nun: A Clip You’ll Probably Want to See

The Federal government MUST be reigned in. The most likely way to do that will be to utilize an issue with a large and diverse supporters, young and old as well as left and right.

Maryland Woman Has Kept Track of Every Tax on Her In 2012 — and You’re Not Going to Believe How Much She’s Paid So Far
November 1, 2012 at 6:49pm
It appears her list contains money spent and the transaction lists a TAX. It does not include all the “hidden taxes” that people don’t often consider in this type of analysis. Everybody’s ACTUAL tax rate is MUCH HIGHER.

Those of us who know the truth need to tell others as often as we can… hopefully in a palatable manner like this creative young man. If we all do it, the “unknowing” will be bombarded by lots of little lessons learned.
