  POTUS still has the final say. The CIA gets the raw intel and passes it along to the elected politicians. If the politicians put their own spin on it to bolster their political position, they either reap the benefit or suffer the consequences. If you don’t like their spin, vote for the other guy. What POTUS did was obvious to those of us with common sense but we were out voted. What is still pending is SS Clinton’s hammina hammina as to why she hung Stevens out to die by refusing to staff the consulate with real security folks instead of local thugs.

  I remember one of my left wing professors in college assigning Harrington’s “The Other America” as course reading (the poor and minorities have it bad and who Harrington believed caused it). Maybe I should go back and re-read it to prepare for what is to become of all of America.

  The ability to process reality and negotiate a path through life that benefits yourself and others results in success. You may never be rich and powerful but that doesn’t matter. Lots of us grew up poor. Lots of us studied and worked and made our way onward and upward. Lots of us understand how damaging to America all this whining and wanting “stuff” crapola will be. We are in for more “bumps in the road” after this election. 300,000 fewer voted for Mitt than voted for McCain. There really are more of us than them we just have to find a way to light a fire under their butts and get them motivated.

  I wonder if the weapons used to kill Stevens, Smith and the retired SEALS were supplied by our government. Fast and Furious, the African version.

  Also the State Department officials testified that there were only 3 armed protective agents assigned to Bengahzi. Stevens brought 2 more armed agents from Tripoli. Even if there were only 2 or 3 of them armed and watching the gate the video protesters stormed through they could have laid down quite a bit of firepower and at least slowed them down until the other armed agents scrambled to help. Where were the 5 armed agents at the time of the attack? Why was the entrance gate left unguarded?

  Not that it isn’t interesting but how can the FBI disclose ANYTHING involving an ongoing investigation. Oh, I forgot, the FBI is controlled by Eric Holder and his Chicago herd. Makes you wonder if POTUS is caught extorting Petraeus to falsely testify before Congress, who will prosecute him? Holder? Let’s all hold our breath.

  All of a sudden this “Closed” case that had no “Criminal” wrongdoing is active again. Search was probably a CONSENT search triggered by new developments or because the original FBI investigation missed something. Notice in the photos that the searching agents are all in soft or plain clothes. No FBI raid jackets.

  This investigation is made known to the White House right away but we are led to believe the Petreaus mess was never brought to POTUS’ attention until AFTER the election. BUNK!

  The press (mostly Fox) has reported that Director Petraus briefed the Congress soon after September 11 and reportedly stressed the U-Tube video protest story as what started the attack killing Stevens and Smith and later the ex SEALS. The press has also heavily reported that the CIA and State Department both had lots of information before and during the attack that it was organized armed militia or terrorists. Gowdy or the others on the House or Senate committees should be curious as to why the Directors briefing was so obviously different from the available intelligence Is it possible that someone in the White House influenced the Director to push the false video causation in his Congressional briefing? Is it possible that someone in the White House used the FBI discovery of the sex affair as extortion to force the Director to provide false information to Congress? The investigating committees need to determine what cause the Director to push the false video story.
