I am afraid there is not that much hope and reason for optimism left. I escaped from the Soviet Union and can tell you, my American friends, once the Marxists are in power, the rules of democracy don’t apply anymore! It’s not going to be as simple as going to vote! They control trillions of dollars, the media, our education system, about to grant TENS of millions of illegals the voting rights. You think in terms of following the constitution and the rule of law and they value the constitution less than a used piece of tp. We are in the mode of trying to have an intelligent conversation, a meaningful discussion on issues and they just willing to eliminate us, and not just wishing, but have the means to do that.

You can forget about “free” elections – Americans had experimented with putting Marxists in charge of the country, but had no clue what they were getting themselves into! Marxists NEVER give up power through democratic means, not in over 100 years of this movement, which claimed lives of tens of millions of innocent people!!! Too late folks, our republic is no more, you can vote all you want, you can refer to the constitution, the bill of rights, the result is gonna be the same as in USSR, China, North Korea, Cuba – the communists stay in power! Congratulations!!!

The guy doesn’t know what he is talking about! Oligarchs and relatively tiny middle class yes, but 90% of the population haven’t seen pay raises in a decade! That’s while real annual inflation rates are in double digits in the country!

@ Theaveng – name another country out of your “300″ which whole existence is threatened day in and day out by ALL her “neighbors” Need time to think about it? To put it in prospective – 2 Billion muslims want to exterminate 6 Million Israelis. That’s only one reason among many others, why the Blaze is talking about this particular country!

I am sick and tired of libs praising socialist systems of Scandinavian countries! I can see where a country the size of New Jersey and population of Manhattan, NY is under centralized control, but when you project it to the US, it’s absurd – you really have to look at experiences of the USSR and Communist China to run comparisons and it’s not gonna be pretty considering that tens of millions of their own citizens were exterminated and the whole territories basically turning into giant concentration camps in order to achieve the objective of “building developed socialism”
