  What did George Washington call for on April 12th, 1779? A National Day of Prayer:
  “The Congress having recommended it to the United States to set apart Thursday the 6th of May next to be observed as a day of fasting, humiliation and prayer, to acknowledge the gracious interpositions of Providence; to deprecate [to pray or intreat that a present evil may be removed] deserved punishment for our Sins and Ingratitiude, to unitedly implore the Protection of Heaven…”

  In light of the recent tragedy you would think our president would lead the nation back to prayer, to ask God for forgiveness and give us divine protection. Instead, it has become a campaign of political opportunism and immediate calls for the partial abolition (change) of the 2nd amendment. He didn’t even hold a formal event for the National Day of Prayer, I doubt he ever will. This is a corrupted man and abuser of government powers who believes in the futility of mankind rather than the divine to ultimately “change” the moral path of our society. This has only led to tyranny in all past governments.

  Little do the liberals know that it is not the people who are in power in this socialist state, it’s a collection of elitists who control them. This system continuously degenerates until it meets its eventual violent death. And by the time they are sifting through the ashes of their failed socialistic democracy they will become all too vulnerable to an even more corrupted tyrannical system disguised as hope and progress.

  The White House congratulated Egypt’s president-elect Mohamed Morsi on his victory in that country’s presidential election, calling it a “milestone” in the country’s transition to democracy.

  President Obama called Morsi Sunday evening, telling him that the United States would stand by Egypt in its transitional period — and said that he looked forward to working together.

  “We believe it is essential for the Egyptian government to continue to fulfill Egypt’s role as a pillar of regional peace, security and stability. And we will stand with the Egyptian people as they pursue their aspirations for democracy, dignity, and opportunity, and fulfill the promise of their revolution.” Carney said.
