It’s a good day in the rickfromthecape household! My coffee tastes sweeter now that I’ve read this article. What a pompous arse! This clown is one of the worst to wander the halls of congress in the history of this nation, and to see him go will do nothing but make us better as a country. Goodbye Dirty Harry….Don’t let the door hit you on the way out…….actually I hope it does!

I think that every day S.T.

The guy had the good sense to tell them to clap for themselves for being there…knowing that they might not applaud the Obloviator in Chief.

Should have gone in there and congratulated the restaurant owner for having the cajonies to make a statement about the plight of our nation.

The guy asked a simple question. You don’t have to be an arse about answering it.

The Buddah at the local Chinese food place is pretty fat.

Would you rather she puff ball questions to him like the MSM does with Obama? I don’t want her or Fox to be in our back pocket. The news media needs to be independent. Lots of people criticize Fox but it seems hypocritical to me. By asking those questions he gets to answer all the critics.
Rick, Thank you. That is what I have been saying ever since I have been here.

Somehow, I knew the article would come around to homosexuality.

LibSoc….Not buying the premise of your question. A more suitable analogy would be this…….I walk by my friends house, and I notice flames coming through the roof. Immediately, I run through the front door calling through the smoke. I hear him upstairs, so I run upstairs yelling to him to follow me out to safety…….instead he gets mad at me for yelling at him, and kicks me out of the house.

Somehow I think that’s exactly what you do.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and all are in need of the glory of God.24 We have been justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,25 whom God has offered as a propitiation, through faith in his blood, to reveal his justice for the remission of the former offenses,26 and by the forbearance of God, to reveal his justice in this time, so that he himself might be both the Just One and the Justifier of anyone who is of the faith of Jesus Christ.27 So then, where is your self-exaltation? It is excluded. Through what law? That of works? No, but rather through the law of faith.28 For we judge a man to be justified by faith, without the works of the law.” And I even used the Catholic Bible for that quote.
Once we’re saved our desires are changed. The “works” are what prove our faith. We now desire to do the will of God when before it was the last thing we wanted to do. Once I gave my life to Christ I suddenly had the desire to find a church to go to. Let me tell you, I NEVER wanted to go to church before that, and NOW it was my DESIRE!

The Catholic is telling us our prayers are ritualistic?
That's affirmative, no where in scripture do we ever see Jesus or any Apostle ever tell anyone that the way to salvation is by repeating a prayer that someone else tells you to say. The mode of entering the church has always been repent and be baptized and follow Jesus Christ.
The emergent church, carnal Christian, disobedience doctrine known as "salvation by faith alone" is an unbiblical tradition of man that is not testified to anywhere in scripture.
While I will admit that the idea that we can disobey God satisfying our flesh and hide behind the blood of Jesus is very appealing to our sinful nature it's just not true.
The entire Gospel message from Christ (and the reason He was crucified) is to turn from sin and become a new creation in Christ.
If you believe in disobedience salvation (disobey Gods commands and still go to heaven) then you know a lot about man made traditions and very little of the Bible. I am just being honest with you. It is impossible to prove the false doctrine of salvation is by "faith alone" using the Bible alone. (James 2:24)
When you say "us" which of the 30,000 or more Protestant denominations do you affirm? It's impossible to have a substantive discussion without knowing exactly what a person affirms and denies. Do you believe in Baptismal regeneration? Divorce and remarriage? Women Pastors? Gay Clergy? Abortion? Contraception?
"if you want to enter life, keep the commandments"

demo’…”God shows His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” That’s in the Bible. It’s in a new Testament book called Romans, chapter 5, verse 8. I suggest you check it out. Actually, I dare you to check it out.
That includes; “homosexuals, people who believe in other religions oh and atheists oh and people who suffer from depression and kill themselves or anyone who kills themselves.”

What’s wrong with America is that our pulpits have lost their temperature. The Presbyterian church being a prime example.
