I am glad to hear your church is taking steps to protect the congregation from these animals! Does your church have a specific security team?
Our church is currently setting up a security team to monitor everything going on in and around our buildings. We are having concealed carry members placed throughout the church and surrounding area outside. We have also sent anyone wishing to carry at church and be part of the team to special training along with having several ex-Marine and Army members on the team. I am wondering how other churches are doing things.
Mine too! It’s awesome.
Praise The Lord and pass the ammunition!
Out pastor joked that so many people are armed in our church that we really ARE a small army of God.
We have plain clothes and obvious security, all armed. Maricopa County patrols and handles traffic, and all the good people who carry.
On a good Sunday out of 1,000 worshippers, there are around at least 100-150 armed people in the audience. Based on the CCW permits in the area, it might be double to triple that.
Wouldn't get far in mine, either. Between the half-dozen police officers/sheriff's deputies attending most services, probably one or two dozen elderly women are packing, as are a large number of the men.
Not a gun-free zone at all. If something goes down, I'm hitting the floor first (out of sight of the old ladies) and saving my ammo for mop-up operations.
At my church, there are a lot of concealed carry. And yes , sometimes a cop or two actually shows in uniform.

While I’m not a fan of the hyphen I don’t mind that he used it there. That was a message to the black community. He used it because it would be more accepted there….smart of him.
