  Even if you don’t have a gun, cowering in the corner? Give me a break … with a handgun it is very difficult to hit a moving target even if youa re a pretty decent shot which 99% of people (including cops) are not. Studies have shown police shoot-outs happen at less than 7 yards and the cops miss 80% of the time.

  You and a fwe others attack the guy and save the kids…. maybe a few people get shot, better than 20 kids…. American have become a bunch of cowards.

  I just finished reading Agenda 21 and have to say I was very disappointed. The story and its structure looks to be targeted at about a 5th grade reading level. The back-story is very weak and does not offer the progression that is required to make the story full and real. It reads too much like a knock-off of Huxley’s Brave New World with a bit of 1984, Animal Farm and Fahrenheit 451 thrown in …

  Better to read ‘Behind the Green Mask’ as well as the classics mentioned above than to read this book. I would also recommend Gulag Archipelago to see how a government can take the approach of – ‘Give me the person, and I will invent the crime’ to controlling a population.

  I usually support Beck however it is obvious that this book was rushed out to tap into a new fear, a very legitimate fear, so Back can make some cash.   I just finished Beck’s book, and I have to say that it was a very disappointing read. It was a god idea, a very poor execution. It was written at about a 5th grade level. Did very little to explain the back-story and the approach that the Progressives will use to take Agenda 21 forward.

  If you have even the most elemental understanding of Agenda 21 I am afraid the book is a waste of time.

  Also, Beck mentions that if you like 1984 you should like this book … well this book is not even in the same universe as 1984 in terms of the structure of the story, the compelling characters and the philosophical statement it is trying to make. This book blatantly steals from Huxley’s Brave New world, as well as from 1984, Fahrenheit 451 and a bit from Animal Farm.

  Everyone that has a passion for freedom should instead read those books (again if you did back in HS) as well as Behind the Green Mask.

  Overall I would not recommend Agenda 21, as a novel. Its a waste of time when you could spend that time reading some of thee classics mentioned above as well as Gulag Archipelago, Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich.

  Agenda 21 is essentially Socialism with Green Spin … the end result is the same. The power elite control everyone and everything under the guise of protecting the earth.
