April 14, 2013 at 4:21am
Bad decisions are driven by misunderstandings, fallacies, lies, and the law of unintended consequences. That’s what we try to teach sixth grade minds, even if they were borne in 1933.

MSNBC Anchor: Yes, Of Course We’re Liberal
April 12, 2013 at 8:18pm
A lower case L liberal would pursue truth and attempt to identify the misunderstanding fallacies and lies that lead to bad decision making.
Sorry but MSNBC accelerates bad decisionmaking.
Frankly, most small-L liberals I know are independents or libertarians. They seek the truth.
TIME’s Joe Klein: It Is ‘Anti-American’ And Paranoid to Think the Government Might Oppress You
April 7, 2013 at 9:23pm
Joe Klien is an idiot, and a fine example of the failure of journalists to fulfill their role in separating truth from the misunderstandings, fallacies, and lies regarding the social, economic, and political issues of the day.
Their failure is feeding the acceleration of bad decision-making that drives us toward the ultimate collapse of what was a functioning society.
It took roughly 250 years to build this society that Joe Klien’s brand of ignorance can destroy a society in a mere 25.
History shows collapse happens that quickly, and journalistic pursuit of the truth is that important.

January 12, 2013 at 10:29am
“We’re working hard to reduce the deficit, not expand it,” he said.
Excuse me? Show me the evidence.
Reading between the lines, I think the real response could have been this:
The White House has discovered significantly easier ways to drain $850 quadrillion dollars from the global economy, and they’ve been making great progress over the last four years. Truth be told, we’ve been making reasonable progress for most of the last 40 years.
‘Unconstitutional Laws Aren’t Laws’: Marine Who Penned Blistering Letter to Sen. Feinstein Over Gun Control Speaks Out

Evil triumphs when people can’t or won’t take time to think.
Most of us accept the adage that all that is necessary for evil to triumph in the world is for good men to do nothing, but when good people let emotion push logic, reason, and careful though aside, evil triumphs through their actions.
So it is with knee-jerk reactions to gun violence. Well-meaning people driven by their emotion propose various arguments to take weapons away from good people, inadvertently but ultimately leaving those weapons mostly just in the hands of evil people. Evil then triumphs.
It’s been said that evil is obvious only in retrospect, but I think that may only be for the folks who can’t or won’t balance their emotions with due diligence of reason.
Evil triumphs when people can’t or won’t take time to think.
What makes the world a better place is simply this: Those that would do evil choose to abstain because they believe they are outnumbered by a larger group with both tools to define, and ability to deliver, quick justice. That idea is a central theme underlying the concepts of due process and equal justice under the rule of law in our Constitution.
