  Having personal experience with many “sweet” Pit bulls, I won’t deny they can be, BUT I’ve known almost as many who had to be put down after becoming aggressive. Sure, Cocker Spaniels bite more people, but almost 100% fatalities involve Pits, with their physiology & instincts. Besides their powerful jaws, they don’t seem to have a “reverse” gear, and IMO cannot be made to back down by man nor beast. A bite from any other breed can be serious, but a Pit chewing on you will almost always be catastrophic!

  I blame the owners – not the dogs. When dealing with anything dangerous, people need proper training in order to minimize the risk, and I don’t see that happening. Few Pit Bull owners are professional dog trainers – most aren’t even “amateur” trainers.

  It is a crime what has been done to this breed, but statistics don’t lie. 11 deaths from Pits or pit/mixed so far this year. It’s like playing Russian Roulette – if you have one of these dogs, the odds are against you, and the rest of us.

  Gold, smold! I’ve invested in toilet paper and bullets. Also, beans and rice are good to stockpile, and some delicious, canned horse meat. Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it.

  Seriously, we do have a good stash of silver US coins – more portable & spendable than lugging a gold ingot to the Circle K to trade for a tank of gas, or trying to “break” a Krugerrand buying a bagel. And it’s recognized as US currency, unlike those stupid collector coins.

  Have some gold jewelry also, which I bought at pawn shops when gold was under $200.

  You’re referring to Fort Worthless, Jim Wright, whose book was as you describe, sold by the case(s) to unions and dhimmicrat backers to fund the Speaker’s campaigns & privileged lifestyle.

  I haven’t cared a whit about anything O’Conner has to say since her initial P.R. wore off and she actually had to write an opinion – most of which were just as empty and meaningless as her stupid book..

  The first woman justice illustrates the Peter Principle so well, Webster could add her picture to the definition.

  This is what we get when Presidents appoint people recommended for positions by the Karl Rove’s of the world. Justice Souter comes to mind.

  Tried, couldn’t watch it. Having read and studied the Bible for years, I am still discovering and learning. This series isn’t even a Reader’s Digest Condensed version – more like a half spoonful from a giant pot of stew….

  If it brings people to Christ, great! But they’ll need a LOT of tutoring & remedial reading to fill in the huge, gaping holes in this presentation. Would recommend “Mathew” instead, a film made literally from every word of that Gospel without changing one jot or tittle.

  CBS must suffer! Hold on – they’ve got some of the highest rated shows on the tube and we watch some of them.

  Okay then, boycott The Five! Uh, never seen it, ever – not even for 2 seconds.

  Alright, back to CBS! Except the producers of “Race” must surely be suffering already, seeing as how they’re so clueless that Hanoi commies can easily manipulate and dictate who and what they can film. No brain/no pain? Nope – more like don’t care, and “F” you if you don’t like it! Nothing new here.

  What is pathetic about this story is only ONE mom noticed and raised heck? Why aren’t there hundreds, or at least dozens of parents protesting?

  Maybe it matters not, as Progressive will keep pushing their B.S. even in the face of massive resistance. But if there is little or none, we won’t slow them a bit.

  If the sheeple are too stupid or apathetic to draw a line in the sand, they’ll be easily overcome and not even know what happened.

  This series is obviously made for people who know very little about the Bible. We can’t watch it because it skips over at least 90% or more – kind of like a “Pepsi Free” – no sugar, no caffeine, no taste. What’s the point?

  If you wanting your kids to learn about Christ and salvation, I would recommend Mathew with Bruce Marchiano playing Jesus. It’s completely faithful to the Gospel and the acting is so good it makes The Word come alive.
