Flying is safer than ever. Between 2001 and 2010 the accident rate was cut by 42%. Two decades ago there were 2500 deaths and 250 accidents per year. Today we're averaging a couple hundred deaths, and ~80 accidents/year. The media loves to sell fear.

Walmart will probley fire the employee with the broken arm for helping the police
There is a problem with suing. She would sue the government, not the person screwing things up. We're the government, she would be suing herself and all of us, accomplishing nothing.
When workers are not longer protected from this kind of behavior suing will get their attention and have the desired effect.

Right now the tax or fine is only taken if you have acyax return. I give it a year two at the max befor the IRS starts seizuing bank accounts, property and start garnishing wages in order to collect the fee or tax. Then opponents will be able to clams its raciest because of its affects on minorities
The ability to directly deduct funds from your bank account by the government, without your cooperation, for health care debts. was included in the ACA. There is so much in this horrible piece of legislation that no one has seen in action yet.

I would love it if some prominent Republican announced next week that they are setting up private email systems for them self’s…….. Them watch the complete 180 from all the Medea that can’t do enouf to defend Clinton
Already had a good laugh when some in the media making comparisons with Republican members of Congress who use private email. Then Gowdy pointed out in an interview that they all use private email accounts and are not allowed by law to do any campaign related emails through official government accounts.
robert: Your question answers itself. It doesn't equate into news. Except the Coke producers will be scanning this article for feedback. Why not? They paid someone big money to get the article published? LOL
It doesn't. Think of it as an equivalent to the "filler" blurbs that editors placed at the bottom of columns in newspapers to fill them out.
Nothing as far as I am aware of.
Well, firstly, it's something people definitely care about, proven by the exceptionally high click through rate on this story.
Secondly, Coca-Cola is one of the most recognizable brands in the world – them altering or changing the design on their products is unquestionably news.
Lastly, not all news touches war, politics, etc. Sometimes, news can be a little fun. TheBlaze has always been about enlightening and entertaining.
Personally, I love coke, the drink isnt too bad either
Because they enjoy watching whiners, whine. If you don't have something to complain about, what do you do with the rest of the day? My bet; look for something to whine about.
Heyyyy,....Oliver Darcy is like,..what, 24 years old!?? He's one of those "internet smart" guy's! He'll tell you with all his worldly experience what "news" is. He just doesn't have a f clue about the audience he is talking to here. It's just kids today and their "but I googled it, and now I'm worldly" feelings about themselves. Oliver, it's just those of us that are actually "grown up", have seen this soda charade go on over, and over, and over. But it's cute watching you experience our big, big world!
Diet Coke is my one addiction. Ever since it first came out, I have consumed increasing amounts daily (probably not healthy - but it is an addiction). I have tried to stop, but found it irresistable (hense, addiction)! Any news about this stuff is of interest to me - even if it just turn out to be about the packaging. I have a love/hate relationship with a 12 ounce can of soda. That makes this story of interest to ME.
"The next time you crack open a Diet Coke" which would be never. Do people still drink aspartame? I thought most people knew aspartame was probably the cause of the Gulf War Syndrome.
It rates high in your mind apparently, since you chose to comment on the story. News is not a one-size-fits-all business.
And.... the true oppressors of women put up response photos that would comply with Mr Harper's policy.... no veil, no face covered.
Islam is more anti-women than anything the leftists could ever dream up about conservatives.
Will you get a load of that…
“The prime minister said that Trudeau doesn’t seem to understand why “almost all Canadians oppose the wearing of face coverings during citizenship ceremonies,” according to CTV News”
It’s not that he doesn't understand; it’s that if common sense were a set of eyeballs, Libs would gouge their own eyes out!
Yes, but he violated the unwritten rule that you can only say things that hurt feelings if they hurt the feelings of God, conservatives, etc. You can't offend baby murderers, fat people, stupid people, terrorists, nut jobs, leftists, etc.
Hornady Critical Defense 12 gauge 2 3/4 00 buckshot-8 .33 cal pellets box of ten-$10.99 at bass pro. I agree with your cheaper financial solution. No three hots and a cot on my dime.
Agree. A bit of paper work is way less than trying to pay to keep those two idiots in jail. The other down side is that if and when they get out they will go do it again. Especially in the case of Travis Brown. who has a long rap sheet that pretty much says he will do it again. The buck shot really was the better option.
