  I was there! I heard it in person! Thank God I graduated last year and not this year! I’ll say this it was worse than written here. I was rather pissed off that he couldn’t even keep it unbiased and unpartisan but he didn’t he threw in so much poitical garbage I was really disappointed and frankly mad about it!

  Firstly, you cannot buy assault weapons, the term is being used by the liberal media to make our legal semi-auto carbines sound scary to influence the uninformed.

  Secondly, if you honestly believe that the conservatives WANT to supply the weapons to the crazies then your proving your one of the misinformed…The “Gun Control” that is supported are things like universal background checks with NO registration, education and addressing mental health. The fact of the matter is no matter what method is chosen any crazy or terrorist can and will find a way to hurt people if they desire regardless of the method chosen. Doesn’t matter if it’s a firearm, car, plane, bomb (which are illegal by the way but some have still been used), knife or a rock. Gun control leads to more attacks on innocent law abiding citizens. I have a rifle, mostly 22lr I use it for target practice and I have alot of fun with my friends shooting in the back yard with an appropriate backstop and safety and I have no desires or interest in hurting ANYONE….EVER but if someone tries to kill me I will defend myself.

  How about some Gang Control intead of gun control, the vast majority of gun murders are by gang members anyway!

  You seem to be laboring under the dilusion that guns kill people instead of punishing the people who use them as TOOLS, that they are. That’s like saying a fork made Rosie O’Donnel fat!
