  @Freeberty food prices would be a quarter of what they would be if the government didn’t subsidize it ? They can’t get Americans to do the work now Whose gonna do it for 75% less? I agree the free market is not working because it’s not free. Too many Corporations have their hand in the cookie jar. But it’s not the small farmers , it’s the Montasanto’s and the ADM’S that are putting the little guy out of business. Guess whose taking money from these corporations? All of them .

  Captbrit. Call me what you will . But i served under Ronald Reagan in the 1980′s i wasn’t old enough to vote for him the first time but i voted for him the second time.George HW Bush next. When he lied and said read my lips no new taxes i voted for Ross Perot. Then Bob Dole George Bush 2 xs and John Mc Cain.When Obama came into office he has lied to us from the get go. I knew he would because he’s a politician. At first i was all for going into Iraq i wanted payback for 9/11 .Bush lost me when he bailed out the banks. and increased the department of education by 53%. Which Obama doubled in his first year.I went to tea party rallies because i know this country is going broke. So if you think we can keep on spending money on wars or building embassies in countries for a billion dollars . You’re a looney. I have also educated myself to the lies that this government has been hiding from us for years. Like the Persian Anglo Oil Company and why the muslims hate us in the first place.Get the hell out of all countries . Have floating military bases called aircraft carriers and stop giving any country taxpayers dollars. Let them kill each other off it’s not our business.If we don’t stop the spending we are doomed. It has to be across the board. We spend 53% of the worlds military budget and are now financing Chinas.   As a registered republican for the last 30 years . I will not vote for a candidate that is talking war. I will vote for Obama or write in Ron Paul.Sorry These people ought to look at why the Iranians hate us in the first place.Start in 1913 with anglo persian oil company and then to 1953 and the overthrow of the Shah. We put in a puppet and a brutal police force the SAVAK. All because the Brits didn’t want to give them a fair deal on their oil.Like we gave the Saudis. 50/50 split.Think how we would feel if Canada or Mexico did that to us. We’d be just as pissed as them and probably blow them up as well.I’m very surprised Glenn has never mentioned this . But it would go against all the lies this government is telling us and the sheep are willing to believe.
