‘Just Absurd’: VA Cops Were Refused Restaurant Service Because of Their Guns
March 28, 2013 at 8:53am
Superanyu:
As a Police Officer in myself, I question your post on so many levels. You state “just as regular civilian’s they shot innocent people also” and then you say you work in LE. If that was the case, wouldn’t you say “We” shot innocent people also”? Private businesses have a right to refuse service, even to police officers. However, real police officers live by a certain code. I live by that code. On duty or off duty. We believe in respect for others, treat others how we want to be treated, and FIRMLY believe in the constitution and restraints on the government (the cops). I have reservations about your belief in that code. You are either a troll or are woefully ignorant of the world around you.
Meeting Between NRA and Joe Biden-Led Gun Task Force Didn’t Go Well

Ladies and gentlemen. I do not speak for all Law enforcement but I do know for a fact that many feel the same way I do. I took an oath to support and defend the constitution which includes the 2nd amendment. I will NOT participate in disarming the public. I will refuse any unlawful order that furthers that cause. Period! Now what, gun grabbers? people in LE are not drones. We generally don’t like being told what to do especially if it is against what we stand for. Good luck disarming the public when there are hundreds or thousands of LE and military defecting and turning our back on the government too

B.S. of A.’s Matt Fisher Details Insurance Nightmare: ‘The Guy Who Killed My Sister Was Defended By Progressive’s Legal Team’
August 14, 2012 at 2:28pm
Darth,
If I needed money to buy a car, I am going to go to a bank/credit union. (btw, I pay cash for cars, but that’s another topic) That financial institution will never take the risk of losing it’s $30k it loaned to me if I wreck my car without some sort of guarantee they will get their money back when I stop paying them because my car is wrecked. Or for that matter, take a house for instance. There is way too much risk of giving me a $300,000 loan to buy a house if it could burn down and then they are out all the money. Insurance is about spreading risk. I like the idea of doing business with a mutual company, that is, one that the policy holders are the owners of the company, not stock holders like the way Progressive Insurance does business.

Without insurance, our system would completely collapse. Not defending bad companies but without insurance, banks would not lend money. No one would be able to buy a car much less a home or business.
Emails Reveal Fed Agency Asked Law Enforcement to Stand Down and Not Arrest Occupiers After Consulting Obama White House
August 8, 2012 at 8:52am
Hey Mil-Dot,
Where do I begin…As a current police officer, I can assure you that I am not here to “do the bidding of criminal politicians and to soak the public of their money” I serve my community honorably as best I can within the confines of the law. An OVERWHELMINGLY large percentage of Officers are conservative family people who believe in the law and small government. I want nothing more than to leave people alone to live their lives. Some poeple are criminals and do criminal things. That is who I am concerned with focusing my attention. I am not a part of any union nor do I ever want to be. I get paid a reasonable salary with a modest retirement, as most police officers do. If you do not want me or people like me to do what we do, then fire all of us and see how that works out. You sir, are an idiot
Mich. Teen Starts Hot Dog Stand to Help Disabled Parents, Shut Down by City Almost Immediately
July 25, 2012 at 3:13pm
For Rothbardian_in_the_Cleve,
While I certainly can understand your position on this, I would just like to point out that many many times cops are told to do these sorts of things by their bosses who were told by the chief who was told by a city administrator/council member etc…I absolutely abhor bothering people for this sort of thing but if it is “technically” illegal, then I do not have a choice to enforce it. Especially if it comes from above me. Change the law. Don’t try to punish me for enforcing it by posting my personal information for some whacko to come try to harm me or my family. This does nothing but further exploit the “us vs them” mentality

Feel free when you get sick to go though that government teet drive thru and see how that works out for ya. You might want fries with your colonoscopy and believe me, that is exactly what you will get. Bare minimum care. no thank you, I’ll be happy to pay for the services I receive. That is exactly what this law will create. a two tier system. the poor will have to use the drive thru.
