  • Rome is burning. Need I say more

  • As a Christian, why would anyone find this newsworthy or a point of concern. We celebrate the birth of Christ for the sake of our beliefs. We do not care if anyone tells us that we are right or wrong. We welcome all that join us in our celebration and we pray for those that do not. We will enjoy our celebration with or without the Governments blessings. In fact, the less the Government plays a part, the more true love and enjoyment will be felt. As for the media, all they want to do is stir the pot. Instead, lets all pray for the hand of God to quiet the hearts of the non-believers. If you believe in God or not, why suffer through all of the angst.

The absurdity of the argument is amazing. Christianity is based on charity and giving from the heart, not abdicating that to some other entity. It is about giving from the heart to help your fellow man. It is not ever suggesting that we allow a bloated government system to do the “charity” for us. It is this misguided sentiment that is allowing Christians to destroy society and by default, the church.

  • I watched this interview this morning and I do not understand how the Morning Joe’s hosts allowed him to spew his hypocritical views. It went on and on. John Kerry is the epitome of the problem with Washington. It is becoming increasingly clear that the media does not even care.

  • The most pompus asset this country has.

  • When Obama was first elected (or even when he was running) a number of us said “the Emperor has not clothes”. I felt proud that I was listed among those few. Proud that I had seen through all of the smoke and mirrors that blocks our portal to information. It took me until today to realize the absurdity in that statement. In the last couple of days I have realized that it is not just the Emperor but also the entire court that is not wearing anything. As the haze moves from my eyes I realize that the fix was in from day one. It was the congressional freshmen that showed me that the established political system had to raise the debt ceiling. since it was the establishment that passed all of the laws allowing all the spending and bloat, they needed to continue to fund it, lest the citizens see too much. By taking decades to unravel this mess, 2.4 trillion over ten years, it allows Congress and the President time to change things, or at least hide them. I always thought they were just looking to ride the gravy train a little longer, but it was today that I realized that they are scrabbling to get some cover because the citizens are starting to hear the boy yelling “They all don’t have any clothes”
