  When I was in college & my folks couldn’t afford to help me pay for it I both worked & went to school while paying tuition, room, & board (along all other costs of living).

  When they raised tuition & my rent I got another part time job, tightened my belt, cut back everywhere I could & took out a student loan. It took all of those things to get me through college –bottom line: I had increase revenue & cut back on expeses.

  There has to be give & take if we’re going to get out of this w/ something to pass on to our posterity.

  I thought this had to be a prank – not even Obama voters are that dumb!

  I was wrong – it all checked out as legitimate according to at least 2 news paper websites.

  Here’s where I differ w/ the more staunch conservatives. While I think we are Taxed Enough Already (TEA), I’m not intransigent.

  The vast majority of Americans think the National debt & yearly budget deficits are extremely out of control. Extreme problems call for extreme solutions.

  I’m all for cutting spending & open to raising revenue even if it includes some very limited & targeted tax increases. I’m open to letting the Bush era tax cuts expire for those making over $250k – I’m also open to letting all of those tax cuts expire for all income brackets.

  Unlike the GOP candidates I’d be willing to accept $1 tax increase for $10 in budget reductions. I would really hate it but at this point it’s a necessary evil – akin to cutting off gangrenous foot to save your leg &/or your life.

  Thank God for surveillance video! (but too bad one of the occupants wasn’t packing). Hope they get these thugs & throw away the keys!

  I’ve no issue w/ this; people are free to endorse & vote for whoever they want (no matter how misguided) thyat’s the beauty of our Constitution …

  Besides this may have been nothing more than a cheap but savvy business decision. The demographic who are the greatest consumers of her brand of entertainment is the younger Obama crowd (probably netted her another $1 million in sales).

  It’s not all video game warfighting that drones, GPS/laser guided bombs & cruise missiles leads the general public gets to believe it is courtesy of high tech video feeds. We still have to put boots on the ground.

  Every rifle in the military has an assigned bayonet & all soldiers get bayonet training. Special operators occasional need horses to conduct their mission. We may not rely on those tools as often but we still need & train on them.

  So BHO doesn’t seem to know quite as much about the military as he boasts of. And as for the Secretary of the Navy stating they could live w/ 285 ships – the service secretaries are POLITICAL APPOINTEEs of the POTUS so consider the source.

  Hilarious! They captured both candidates pretty well.

  Biden was a complete a$$: a rude, moronic, idiot!

  Ryan came off stiff … he made Romney look like Steve Martin “a wild & crazy guy”. Ryan was well in charge of the facts & issues but it was almost like debating Star Trek’s Mr. Spock at times.
