Background checks will be mandated next month. You had better stock up now. DHS is buying 1.2 billion 9 volt batteries. If you wait there will not be any.
In Oregon-- you can't even pump your own gas.
Way two dangerous-- you need a highly skilled pump technician to do the job for you.
Probably should unionize that role to make it even safer.

Again your ignorance of cycling is amazing. Mine is a “Road” bike thus the word “Road” designates the arena for the sport as the “Road”. There are also, Mountain, hybrid, commuting, and other classifications of bikes.

I am sorry all you UN-informed drivers out there about the sport of cycling. Wouldn’t you expect a runner to having special shorts, shoes, and shirts for their sport why not for cycling. Additionally if you don’t understand the sport then don’t try to comment on it. We have just as much right to the road as cars and each state has published rules of how to approach a cyclist and how cyclist have to behave on the roads.
First I would suggest you take the quiz for motorists on this site:
Illinois, isn't that where Blago, Obama, and Capone are from?
Yes, bicyclists have as much right to the road as cars. But you aren't paying a dime for that use. No tags, license, insurance, et cetera. That's right where the governments wants you. Believe and demand you have the same rights as cars and then hit you with all the fricking fees that cars have.
It irritates me to no end to be on a street or road and have a gaggle of bikes taking up the entire lane, going maybe 20MPH. You cannot always get around them efficiently and then you get frustrated and then issues like this happen.
And before you come down on me, I'm an avid road and trail cyclist. I tend to ride solo so I can stay right and not mess with cars. Yes, there are still a few vehicles out there that will brush you back, but for the most part, stay to the right and be cool.
Simple rule: if you want to take up the entire lane, do the speed limit. I've yet to see many cyclists (excluding pros) who can accelerate like a car and maintain 40MPH.
I would like to see the tax receipt for a bicycles registration. I have to pay TAXES on my car to use the roads. When I buy gas there are TAXES that go toward highway maintenance. Most "sports" are played on a field or in a gym that are designed specifically for that "sport". Highways and streets were designed for CARS and TRUCKS not weenie cycles. If I had ridden a bike like some of these a-holes do around here when I was a kid...my mom and/or dad would have whipped my @$$ for being stupid and thinking I had the right of way on the road! That little helmet they were doesn't do a damned thing for STUPIDITY!
My parents taught me as a kid not to ride my bike in the street for a damn good reason: cars trump people. Let's play a game: cars, people, scissors. Play your people or scissors anytime you want but cars always beat people & scissors. Pretty simple really.

No shaking the phone is the signal to NSA to harvest information from your phone. The word “undo” is code for “send” at the NSA.

How about a video of what Jewish, Christian, Catholics contribution? Oh that would be a separation of church and state issue…

I wouldn’t be surprised they iPass here in Illinois is doing the same thing. There are sensors on polls all over the freeways and tollways and so far the only explanation that I have found is that they are monitoring traffic. I am familiar with Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) radar that is used for traffic monitoring but these units seem to also trigger the iPass box in cars so they are getting your box id which is tied to cars. I may get one of those flip open boxes that the rental car companies use that block the transponder until you flip it open to block my iPass for being used for tracking instead of toll collection.

Maybe he should understand that the S in SNAP is supplemental. Thus food stamps are to “supplement” their food purchasing…not be the only source of food dollars. It’s people doing stunts like this that makes me sick.

Do we expect anything less from big government. How many regulation are violated every year without knowing? Most folks have been doing the same thing year in year out and then one day a letter shows up and then you whole life gets turned upside down.
I know when I contacted to FCC to renew my never notified expired license. Just to file a letter for an exception to reactive my call sign would have cost me over $200 when a new three year license with new call sign would only be $65.

I am in Representative Duckworth’s district. If she caucuses with the democrats she is part of the machine. I remember reading on her Facebook page of all the folks supporting her were bashing Joe Walsh. Joe lost his seat her because of the gerrymandering of the districts here in Illinois. I have called her office 3 times since being elected asking for her legislation agenda. No phone calls returned, no answers, no accountability. Lets see as this session congress commences.

What is that logo on the front side, bottom, of Obama’s business card? Looks like a union shop logo.
Yup. Graphics union label, probably by shop who made the cards. Not usually the type of thing one puts on one's cards, but BO's strong affiliation with that sort demanded it in his mind, I'm guessing. See it here: http://trademarks.justia.com/734/71/gciu-graphic-communications-international-union-union-label-73471230.html

Last year Illinois AG wanted to publish the holders of FOID cards here Illinois. For all of you who don’t live here in the Socialist Utopia of Illinois you must possess a FOID card before you can own a gun or purchase ammunition. Having the card doesn’t mean that you own a gun only that you may legally engage with firearm activities and is administered by the state police.
Based on some of the arguments for this list to be published was to allow local neighborhoods to have statistics of how many gun owners where there to assist a family seeking home ownership. Also to allow parents to see if their neighboring family’s where they kids played had firearms.
In reality the number one reason they didn’t publish the list was it would provide an list of houses where firearms may be and allow thieves to target the homes without guns. Of course the media took the other side of the story and stated that the list wasn’t published due to thieves knowing where guns are so they can break in a steal them for reselling to other criminals.

I wouldn’t be surprised of the Obama Department Of Labor will persuade the Justice Department to seize any assets from the sales and give it to the striking employees. Those evil rich share holders should be shafted just like the GM bond and share holders.

How soon before they blame this on Bush and Obama inherited this?

This has been one of my disaster plans. We have had our Prius for 10 years and purchased an inverter the first year I got the car and permanently installed in I the trunk so I would have four 110 outlets. About 4 years ago we had a major power outage so I ran two extension cords from the trunk to my sump pumps in the basement. The high capacity battery pack kept the inverter going and then the engine would start up to recharge the pack.
Heck even GM has a hybrid truck that doubles as a generator when you park it on the job site. Common sense folks.
The title is misleading on this article. The law is not anti-union it limits what the union can bargain for.

I am a Joe Walsh supporter so let the flaming begin. First of all Joe meets regularly in the communities of his constituents, I have been to 4 of them and each time Joe is very receptive and animated when a topic that is close to him is brought up. He wants smaller less intrusive government that is fiscally responsible. Yes he does have flaws but you know ever person does. Joe is working for the people in his district not for the party and not for the system.
