  • From the 1st grade (1956) to 9th grade I always walked home for lunch, & on occasion, in Jr. high, my Mom would let me eat at the cafeteria ( for 25 cents) on Friday, when they served the best homemade, enchiladas, of which was a rare treat.

  • In 1956, when I was a 6 yr. old girl in the 1st grade, sometimes my teacher Miss Quimby would bring fresh oranges to class & would sit there peeling them while our mouths watered wanting some, & she would comply & it sure was a treat too. Not to forget to mention she was a very loving & caring teacher & we all loved her dearly, even if she never brought us oranges to begin with. She retired after the next year of which I had her as my 2nd grade teacher as well. How many of us, including me, were never afforded such a luxury, probably most of us or we would not have been so excited when we recoginzed that “special bag” that held those oranges that came with her into class on those special days! Too bad such a simple, innocenct act, cannot be practiced today by those special kind of teachers.

  • This site gets harder & harder to post on!!

When you are dead you are d-e-a-d! As all, who have lived & will live, will find out in the end-period.

Science can only go so far & then God steps in, just make sure you are ready when He does.

  • Just suppose: IF, CT gov. were home alone, & a number of thugs got in & the gov just happeded to have an automatic rifle, do you think he would hesitate to use it to protect his life–you bet he would not!!

  • I did not know what Facebook really was & signed on one day. When I saw all the personal info they

wanted, I did not follow through. This is an added reason why I will have nothing to do with Facebook.

A well educated man in God & Country.

  • Let’s just suppose that they do; a lot of people are standing around looking (gawking) at IT, & bam, it’s Judgement Day; & those that don’t know or believe what will happen on Judgment Day, see him rise. Can you picture it?

  • I don’t like thinking that our country may fall, but from what is apparent,it looks likely, maybe, or not in my lifetime, but it sure has all the signs.

Sen. Paul & others are trying to correct the corrupt going-ons in our governement, but is it too late, are we truly far too gone?

What will have to happen to prevent it, does anyone REALLY know? I believe there are some in Washington that do, but they are GREATLY out-numbered.

I know there are those who will agree & disagree with what I have said, but this is how I feel.

  • My Daddy taught me as a 12 yr old girl, how to shoot & handle a rifle, (his preference), & for years I kept a Snake-charmer(410 shotgun) in my car at an instant reach distance,(up against & nest to the front seat & floorboard). I see all firearms as a right to protect oneself when & wherever needed.

Back in 1965, my parents walked in on a man coming down the hall (he had all of Daddys’ guns wrapped up in the bedspread) & when Daddy grabbed him by the back of his shirt collar, he slipped on a rug & lost his grip, which allowed the intruder to get away & live another day, for, Daddy would absolutely have ended his sorry life & taken him to the garbage dump for the buzzards evening meal. I too, at 63 now, would not hesitate to do the same, for, the intruder has no respect for me, so why should I for him.

I am a proud member of the NAGR(National Association for Gun Rights), & will defend the 2nd to WHOMEVER, it needs defending to!!!

  • Dr. Carson was asked in an interview about being a politician & he said no because he would not be able to help the youth as he is now & I had a strong feeling he was going to say such.
I have seen about 7 of his speaking engagements on film at different colleges, hospitals, etc. & he is very passionate about reaching the last of the savable generation of young children & he will very likely live out the rest of his life doing so along with his choosing to perform as a doctor as long as he can. Politics corrupts many good men & I am relieved to know he will not be one of them.
