  Emotional story, but how long was it again that he hasn’t seen them? Was is “over a year”? How many pounds was it she lost again? Was it “over 100 pounds”? I didn’t have a tally, but the reporter said this so many times it was aggravating. Sometimes a reporter NOT being a part of the story and letting the visual aids speak for themselves is ok. Just my opinion

  Why do (mostly young) people have problems doing what a police officer requests? No doubt this guy was looking to enrage the cops and get his 15 seconds of fame by recording and running his mouth the whole time the cop was writing a ticket. I’m sure he’ll sue for pain and suffering that HE CAUSED by not obeying the cops order. I’m sure he’s getting a lot of support from the Occupy Wall Street freaks and their ilk.

  One firefighter and three bystanders helping fight the fire from the doorway. The Chief walks around with the white helmet clueless to scene safety and smoke conditions. I guess his climb to the top of the department through the promotional process never involved reading about smoke conditions or ventilation. Maybe it was more along the lines of “he’s one of the good ol’ boys” lets give ‘em a white helmet. I hope he second guess the decision he made to allow citizens so close to the scene. But it’s probably more along the lines of, “did you see the big fire I was on?” I’m praying the citizens or firefighters weren’t seriously injured from that.

  Is that guy in the blue pants and blue shirt really smoking a cigarette next to a vehicle with gas and other flammable fluids spilling everywhere? Incredibly, he looks to be wearing a faded fire department shirt. Personally, that would make his actions more egregious. He should know better. He may have a death wish, but I bet those guys around him don’t want to die or be severely burned in a flash fire. Scene safety guys!!
