  I agree with you cryinginthedesert. This should be shown to High School Aged kids. It’s hard enough for these young one’s. We still need to warn them of dangers, yes…. but this stuff is more age appropiate for 8th grade and up.
  It’s about time they started reporting on this. This kind of stuff is happening all over the WORLD!

  What I’ve read about this God awful procedure is that 9 times out of 10 this procedure is done because of the parent’s belief system! It’s mainly performed on black women, young black women. I had never heard of such a horrific and shocking procedure until I was in my late 20′s. I can’t imagine what these girl’s go through. I can’t believe that after all this time this painful procedure is still being perfomed and that NO ONE IS STOPING IT!!!!!!!! To the comment about racism? It’s not racism, it’s a matter of ABUSING women, period!!
