NJ Mother Pressured to Turn Over Her Guns, Charged With ‘Terroristic Threats’ After Reading the Constitution at Tax Dispute Assembly

I love how the police have absolutley zero invesigative skills. Just because some punk (you can see his picture on the company’s website), makes an accusation, they totally ruin this woman’s life without getting any details. Police are so protected by their unions that they could care less who’s rights they trample because they never face any consequences.
TheBlaze Fact-Checks Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s Anti-Gun Claims Made During Senate Committee Hearing

I love when gun control advocates use other countries for examples of how gun control works. The common themes is “gun violence” or “gun deaths” are down; however, they neglect to look at all other crime statistics. Almost every other category of violent crime has increased exponentially due to criminals having no fear and a reduced risk of encountering a threat to themselves from an armed populace.

Teen Flees Town After Posting This Graphic Picture on Facebook of a Dog Killed by an Arrow

Interesting scrolling down through the comments and seeing terms such as “ban”, make illegal, and “unlawful”, in terms of not allowing someone to own a certain type of dog…..specially from a conservative sight. Are we now supporting government telling us what kind of pets we can own?

You’re statement “I hate dogs…” demonstrates your ignorance in people’s attachment to their pets. Many people spend a lot of money, time, training, etc. in their pets (Glenn Beck for example). Unless I’m mistaken, most of do not eat our pets as we do livestock so killing other people’s pets should draw some shame. If someone would should our dog, they would very quickly learn the term, “don’t fear the dog, beware of the owner.”

Burglar Breaks Into Home of Armed Off-Duty Sheriff’s Deputy — And It’s the Last Thing He Ever Did
February 14, 2013 at 1:01pm
Maryland does not have a Castle Doctrine or a Stand Your Ground provision for self-defense. They still follow the common law self defense. While it still allows for lethal defense, it is not as generous to the defender. While I applaud this deputy, I can’t help but wonder how this would turn out if this was just a regular citizen defending his home in Maryland.
‘So What if Abortion Ends Life?’: Pro-Choice Writer Says Some Babies Are ‘Worth Sacrificing’
January 24, 2013 at 3:21pm
This is a very interesting, and disturbing, article. If the pro-choice crowd is now willing to abandon the “it isn’t a baby; it’s a fetus” argument, and accept that life begins at conception, but is still willing to abort it, why does the act of childbirth have to be the abortion cut-off? I mean, if a week after you have your baby, you decide that it is too much of a burden, why not just kill it. That child’s life started 9 months and 1 week ago; the only difference is it passed from being inside the mother to now outside. Scary!!
Police Shoot Man’s Dog Three Times After Going to His House by Mistake: ‘They Killed My Dog for No Reason’
January 17, 2013 at 3:23pm
I totally agree, AND you know it’s just a matter of time. It will be very interesting to see how a self-defense plea against a police unlawfully entering someone’s house or property and shooting plays out!
Police Shoot Man’s Dog Three Times After Going to His House by Mistake: ‘They Killed My Dog for No Reason’

Unfortunately this type of police behavior is happening with increasing frequency lately….or we’re just hearing more about it lately. In the beginning of December a Commerce City Police Officer shot a family dog 5 or 6 times that was already confined in a catch pole. The officer is now facing felony charges, but the police union is supporting him by having as many police attend his hearing as support. This New Year’s Day, a Baltimore City Police Officer chased a suspect into a family’s fenced in backyard and shot their dog when it came out to see what was going on. I fear that this enforcing an “us vs. them” mentality when it comes to police.
