CBS Apologizes to Veterans Following ‘Anti-American’ Episode of ‘The Amazing Race’
March 25, 2013 at 12:48pm
ROSE-ELLEN, I’m not sure why you’re so berating to our military vets that served in Nam. Most all these men were drafted (unlike volunteer service) and sent half a world away to fight a jungle war with an enemy so vile the only compares to the beheadings of the Islamic factions of today. No, our military didn’t loose the war – they followed orders. The outcome of the war is a direct reflection on the politicians of the day. Our military is quite capable of destroying any country or enemy they come up against. It’s a matter of whether they’re given the orders to do so that determines the outcome. We won every battle fought, but the politicians failed to win the hearts and minds of the Vietnamese people. Something we’re about to find out in Afgahnistan too. Iraq may well revert back to American haters as well. That doesn’t mean our military failed, it means the politicians failed.
TheBlaze Fact-Checks Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s Anti-Gun Claims Made During Senate Committee Hearing
February 28, 2013 at 12:45pm
The way I see it, the whole crux of the matter is we have a 2nd Amendment to our Constitution that says our ability to own firearms will not be infringed. Those that don’t like that should take up their cause, propose a constitutional amendment and get 2/3rd’s of the states to ratify it. Then and only then will it be the law of the land. EVERYTHING else these lawmakers do is unconstitutional. I don’t give a rip about U.K. or Australia – I don’t live there. The government can’t take away rights it never granted in the first place. Self protection was endowed to us by our Creator. Only by His authority can that be taken away. The constitution guarantees that. Feinstein should STFU before she starts something they may regret. And I don’t believe the Supreme Court is the final arbitor on this matter, it’s We the People who have the final say so.
Federal Court Finds No Constitutional Right to Carry a Concealed Weapon — We Explain The Decision
February 26, 2013 at 4:41pm
I bet there’d be a lot fewer “snakes” lining up to become politicians if everyone were able to carry weapons everywhere. I believe Andrew Jackson shot a man on the White House lawn. Guns were just part of every day life. This nanny police state where we’ve got volumns and volumns and volumns of laws and policeman on every street corner is not a “free” society. It’s a place where lawyers make a killing off of private citizens on trumped up charges by protected government zealots who lord over us. We aren’t the “freeholders” of long ago. We’re subjects of the state. When you face up to that reality, then we all might get something done.

I know the founders didn’t concern themselves with “concealed” weapons vs “open” carry. A gun was a gun to them, whether it was under their coat, in their pant line, under their saddle bag, in their desk, at their home. Didn’t matter to them. It’s us modern day idiots that try to overthink this whole thing. We have the right to keep a gun on us at all times, period. Whether we want to put it under our coat, in our car, in our boot, or wear a holster with it. Doesn’t matter. That was the original intent – self preservation. All this play on words B.S. is just that, B.S. And each time we let them pass a new law, it just sucks a little more freedom away from us. Hey, try walking into a bar nowdays with a gun. I’m sure all the founders did it in their day and never thought anything of it. Times haven’t changed, only people.

I see the old argument of “what about rocket launchers, helicopters, grenades, machine guns, or nukes?” Hey – where were the British heading at Lexington and Concord? Ummm, I believe to the local powder magazines where the citizens kept their canons and powder kegs along with canon balls, rifles, and musket balls. You see, each city had it’s own “magazine” for those types of weapons. We’ve been fooled into thinking our “National Guard” is our militia. It’s not. Yes, by all means we should be able to own all those things. Most likely they’d be stored at OUR militia magazine for the common defense of all. And our long guns and hand guns would still be in our personal possession to protect ourselves until we could muster and get to our “magazine” to thwart any attempt to subdue us. There was absolutely NO restrictions placed on ownership of weapons by citizens. The government has fabricated this whole thing since it came into being. The founders were very very smart. We’re the dumb ones to let this happen.
Vietnam Vet Barred From Owning a Gun Because of a Teenage Misdemeanor 45 Years Ago
February 26, 2013 at 4:08pm
See that’s the whole problem here, you can’t loose a right to the government which it never gave you in the first place. They might think they can own you, but the final arbiture isn’t the Supreme Court – it’s We The People. Once you do your penance to society, you have every natural God given right the day you walk out of jail as the day you walked into it. Government can’t revoke a God given right. They think they’re greater than God? They don’t want you to have personal protection, then they better start putting Secret Service in everyone’s houses – and I sure the heck don’t want to pay for that. Give him a damn gun!!!!

It’s quite obvious this Citizen and Honorable Military Vet doesn’t want to live in the shadows or do something which could be considered criminal. We’ll all face this type of persecution and feel the same once certain gun laws are passed. We’ll become criminals overnight with a stroke of a pen. But it’s for this very reason there was absolutely NO limits placed on the 2nd Amendment by our founders, None, Zip, Nadda. If you did a crime, you did your penance and went back into society or were hung. If you went back into society, your neighbors weren’t gonna hunt and feed you, you had to do it yourself. All this legal B.S. is posturing by the gov to get your guns. For those that don’t like guns, take up your cause and change our Constitution. Otherwise, ALL gun laws are unconstitutional. Yes, even crazies and criminals have a right to own them. But that doesn’t mean they can do what they want with them. Just means they might get shot doing something they shouldn’t be doing with them. Supreme Court isn’t the final arbiture – I believe it’s We The People. Our society is so dumbed down they haven’t a clue about original intent.
Cruise Passenger Embarrasses CNN Reporter for Comparing Situation to Katrina: ‘We’re on a Freaking Cruise Ship’

Just goes to show how pathetic and savage people really are. 5 days without electricity and “running” water and society fell apart aboard the boat. You’d have thought these folks have been months at sea without anything. We’re talking 5 days and they all turned into savages. The people let conditions turn into what they were. I can’t wait to see what folks do when goods and services stop after the collapse of our economy. Government is arming up – these idiots will be dead in the first 30 days. They couldn’t take care of themselves hardly for 5 days, imagine 2-3 months or more without electricity.
Town Police Chief Issues Warning on Facebook About Newspaper’s Request for Gun Permit Information
February 14, 2013 at 6:11pm
JROOK – first off, you make it sound like sales at gun shows are not subject to background checks. You’re just regurgitating talking points without any substance, typical. It shows your blantant ignorance about gun shows or for that matter, licensed firearm dealers. The government or the public at large doesn’t need to know what guns I own, what type of magazines I possess, how much ammunition I have, or why I even need them. It boils down to this – It’s none of your damn business, none of the governments business. It’s really that simple. None of your damn business. Now if I commit a crime with my weapons, that’s when it becomes the governments business, but until that happens, none of anyones business what type of firepower I possess. You libs need to back off, you’re playing with fire here. Focus on your own life – quit projecting your ideals into the lives of God fearing, patriotic, family oriented Americans. We take self preservation pretty serious. The right God gave us doesn’t allow you, the government, or anyone else to take it from us – and that’s the right to life through self-preservation. But by all means, keep poking the poisnous snake. Sometimes experience is the best teacher. You’re dealing with a whole different class of folks here, not the low information Obama voters.
Tenn. Gun Rally Interrupted After Police Arrest Man Carrying AR-15

As the heat intensifies, the water starts to boil. When the pressure builds up too much, the kettle is liable to explode. THEM = 1 GUNNERS = 0. If you throw in NY it’s THEM = 2 GUNNERS = 0. Now California is up to bat, will it be THEM = 3 GUNNERS = 0? I’m seeing a trend here. Who’s going to win?
