32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
@rpp If you have a problem with Pope Francis take it up with the Holy Spirit He chose him.
If you are Catholic, you are, of course, familiar with the Corporal Works of Mercy:
•To feed the hungry;
•To give drink to the thirsty;
•To clothe the naked;
•To harbor the harborless;
•To visit the sick;
•To ransom the captive;
•To bury the dead
And, as a Catholic, you must be familiar with the Gospel, since it is read every day at Mass:
Matt 25:35 For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in:
Matt 5:43 You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

When you murder children to make a buck, it is easy to be corrupt liars. Josef Goebbels has more credibility than Planned Parenthood.
I didn’t see your post when I commented, rpp. You can see we think alike on this one, and I am a Baptist.
The answer is simple. No. Neither are you probably. This crap they call the Catholic church has changed so much in my 55 years of going to the point it is not recognizable from a century ago much less 20 centuries ago. Transubstantiation is a joke and predict that they will change it to sub transubstantiation as the episcopalians did. I did not like the changes in the mass, "and with your spri"t? What was wrong with the " and also with you"?
I divorced and remarried. My Church welcomed me and my family but I was not able to receive communion. We went to mass. My kids were able to be baptized and get their first communion. All of this happened while we waited for our annulments to go through the process. That process made me grow in my faith since it was a really heavy cross for a while.
By the grace of God both annulments were granted and we married in the Church this past April. It was awesome and I cried when I finally was able to receive.
I never felt alienated. I always felt welcome.
If you don't follow the Pope as the leader of the Catholic church, you are NOT a Catholic.
you think it was Gods grace that stamped ok on your petition? they allowed your children first communion and baptism while you were waiting? what if God had stamped it rejected? would you still be there?
INTHEBROTHERHOOD: I don't understand your questions.
My kids aren't tainted or limited by my sins.
If you're asking about the authority of the Church, then you need to read the scriptures. What you bind on Earth is bound in heaven and what you loose on Earth is loosed in heaven. Jesus "sent" his apostles into the world. After the resurrection, He gave them His authority to forgive and retain sins. He said, clearly, "he who hears you hears me. He who rejects you rejects me."
Apostolic authority and succession is also a consistent theme in Paul's writings. It's also consistent in the writings of the Early Church Fathers.
Then there's Jesus' words on marriage. So if Jesus's Church says I'm not married, it is Jesus Himself who is saying that i'm not married since the Church speaks with His authority on this Earth. I'm assuming that's what you're alluding to.
Now, if you're going to go on a side justification about Biblical authority being the only authority, etc, then I expect the verses that justify sola scriptura. I'll save you the time. There aren't any.
There are, however, tons of verses that demonstrate apostolic authority, succession, etc. The Church, not a book or a man, is called by Paul "the pillar and bullwark of Truth." (1 Timothry 3:15).
It isn't invisible. It isn't individual. In fact, those heresies are nothing more than recylced heresies from the first century which were rejected by the Church and the Church Fathers.

Yet another anti-Walker troll. Boy you Progressive really hate anyone who supports fairness and the desire the project children and preserves Western civilization.
By the way, how many accounts do you have here? More than 10? 20?

This woman personifies evil. She is a fake conservatinve and a promoter of sexual deviances. S.E. Cupp is a disgusting and filthy person. Nothing else she can do would redeem her.
rpp: You are so right. I spotted her true colors long before the BLAZE gave her the boot. With a so-called "Conservative" like her we don't need Democrat enemies.
On a site that bathes in hatred and ignorance on a daily basis, this comment stands atop the heap!
This woman personifies the future of the Republican party.
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'.
I am more concerned about you being near children
I hope you don't have any children.
You sound about as creepy and intrusive as the federal government.
If we all adopt S.E's defeatist attitude, we can speed up the destruction of America. Personally, I will never comply.
What say you?

This is the beginning of excluding Christians from doing any commerce, operating a business or acting on their conscience.
At this point, I actually now hope that Iran gets a nuke and uses it against us. With this ruling, and yesterday’s, we deserve it.
I don't understand...how would this exclude any Christian from doing commerce or running a business?
Hope Google doesn't go down now.

I too am Catholic. And you are correct, Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation. When the child becomes old enough to understand sin and able to choose between sinning and not, then it is time to educate them in the faith.
However, I believe you missed the part in Catholic teaching where a priest can withhold the baptism of a child if the priest can find no evidence that the child will be raised in the faith. A two people who openly and publicly reject fundamental Church teachings, as these two men do, certainly qualify as not intending to raise the child in the faith.
Of course this is an Episcopalian pastor. And they have been historically weak on moral issues for more than a century which is why these men chose that church instead of a Catholic church. I believe that pastor did the RIGHT thing.
A (faithful) Catholic priest would have told these men to get right with God before agreeing to baptize the child, and he would have been right to completely refuse to baptize if the men refused.

Fake! Fake! Fake! Handwriting is way too good. Letter shapes are too consistent with one another. And the changing of colors is not something a little girl would do like that.
More lies from racist blacks. Everytime someone screams “racism” from a white, it is a lie with fabricated evidence.
There are way more blacks who are racist than whites, both by percentage and sheer numbers.
Just a little something to add... I think one very telling feature of the letter is the way the word racist was spelled... "races". Sounds like Ebonics to me. Of course, having noticed that I am sure makes me a 'races' person.

After reading his comments, and reflecting on some of his other actions in over the past year, I have made a decision.
Today I cancelled my Dish TV subscription to TheBlaze TV channel.
The most confusing holiday in the "hood", Father's Day. Blacks see nothing wrong with a 70% illegitimacy rate among blacks. 10 kids, 7 different fathers. With that many different partners, I doubt the women even know for sure who fathered their children.

Yet another demonstration that the environment movement is UTTERLY morally bankrupt and irredeemably hypocritical.

Well, they are correct. Homosexuality is unnatural. If it were natural, then humans would be able reproduce that way.
We are all born sinful.
And sinfulness takes us into all kinds of unnatural stuff.
This article is actually a pretty good read, if you believe in the Biblical reasoning behind the so-called "anti-gay" movement. It is an unnatural act, and God Himself never gave it a name, "merely" called it an abomination and "unseemly."
@RPP - You're undeniably correct.
"“I am shocked and really disappointed that at the end of 2014, we have a billboard in the middle of our city that says that kind of hate,” said Beth Panilaitis.
What a twisted train of thought that is!
She would have spoken for over 95% of the US population, had she said - "I am shocked and really disappointed that at the end of 2014, we have a homosexual POSOTUSA and his appointed judges, who have legalized abhorrent homosexual State unions between sexual deviants."
If people are born with their sexual preferences pre-determined, then the same could be said of animal lovers, incestuous siblings and many other "taboos".
Don't hate them just because they were born that way!
Human sexuality hasn't been purely about sexual reproduction for tens of thousands of years. All humans, even straight married couples, engage in sexual activity for pleasure and social bonding a lot more often than they do so for the sake of sexual reproduction.
Sod0my is sin ans sin in many ways is the corruption of the natural Good order of things. God designed sex to be between one man and one women in the confines of marriage. Sin has corrupted that in so many ways; fornicati0n, rape, pedophilia, bestiality, prostitution, pornography, homosexuality, and etc.
There is nothing factually incorrect about the advertisement.
Good morning rpp,
I have sex while using birth control - thus purposefully avoiding a child. It's quite obvious that birth control is man-made, but throughout history people have had sex in ways that avoid childbirth. Ancient herbs, alternative sexual techniques, tracking menstrual cycles... sex is naturally for more than being able to just reproduce. It bonds people, pleasures them. Babies do not need to be part of that for the rest of it to still be natural.
If heterosexuality was natural and sex was only for conceiving children, why would women have a clitoris? It serves no function besides pleasure. Why have a G-Spot if sex isn't about pleasure?
I think the only part they are correct about is that they "believe" the twin studies show that no one is born gay. Sure, I'm on board with that; they probably did misinterpret studies showing that genes play a factor in deciding sexuality and decided to believe their conclusion.
Have a good day!
How is that billboard displaying "hate?" Hate is when you have the cowards of ISIS stoning to death a homosexual man. Or perhaps the countless other atrocities that you libs love to ignore from the Islamic Nazis. How about that hate that is spewed over Israel? No no I guess your right this billboard is just as bad as the above. Get a life and get a real cause to stand by.
Twins, one boy ..one girl..nobody is born sexed...simplistic answers to a few questions. Some males and females cannot reproduce, are they natural ? When did YOU choose your sexual orientation ? See,I have never been attracted to other males,only females. So do tell how you battled your homosexual desires. Or . like me you never had any, YOU and me were born that way...well I was.
Homosexuality occurs in nature therefore it actually IS natural, by definition.
You couldn't be more wrong. My cousin's daughter was obviously gay by the time she was two. It's not a choice. I had a friend years ago who attempted suicide; he was drafted and chosed to stay in the closet but he couldn't take the atmosphere. I know another man who was married and had children and he and his wife hated each other---until he came out and they divorced. As soon as they divorced, they became the best of friends. It's people like you who fire up the liberals and turn moderates into lefties. Shame on you---on so many levels. Neither you nor I have the right to judge gays, but people who think the way you do, do more harm than good.
Big difference in the sin of homosexuality and lets say my sin...I do not go around MAKING everyone accept my sin :(
I keep in contact with some of the people I went to university with. One, a young lady who is a molecular biologist, said that gay rights activists are the #1 biggest obstacle currently blocking new discoveries in genetics. Apparently, they have an enormous lobbying group that puts a stop to any study being done into what determines sexuality.
The way she put it, "Gay activists don't want any evidence one way or another. If it (sexual preference) turns out to be genetic, there might be a cure for it. If it turns out that there's no genetic reason for it, then it's a lifestyle and a choice. Either way, the gay activists are against any research into it."
I have a serious, genuine question. If gay people "didn't choose" to feel the way they feel, and they can't help it, wouldn't that apply to everybody? Or does it only apply to gay people.
What I mean to say is, if a gay person has no control over their feelings of attraction and sexuality, isn't it equally true that a straight person has no control over their feelings of revulsion and disgust?
If a gay man is attracted to the concept of having sex with other men, and he's "born that way" and "cannot change", then a straight man who is disgusted by gay men is also "born that way" and "cannot change." If feelings are something we're born with, then my disgust and revulsion at the sight of lesbians is just as valid as the feelings lesbians have. My intense urge to vomit when I see gay pride parades is just something I'm born with, and I can't change who I am.
Right? That's how it goes, isn't it?
Once again, when facts are presented that counter the LBGT community’s arguments, they dismiss it as hate and prejudice. If the LBGT’s position on genetic causation were factual and supported by legitimate, empirically sound and peer reviewed meta-analysis research, the leftist media would have the results as front page news DAILY! You can bet on that.
Well I suppose the billboard was 100% accurate. They said "we believe". They did not say anything about facts. Clearly they would rather ignore facts in favor of their beliefs and bigotry.
Homosexuality is not a choice but placing judgment on others is.
I agree that it is NOT genetic but a choice and probably they were raped as a child. I have seen them in this country and others soliciting young boys and teenagers to "come" with them. It is not natural and from time immemorial they have been shunned or killed as abnormal persons whether female or male. We are nice, we do not kill them and they only shun us and we not them.
For me this isn't the point. Free speech is free speech. Nobody can tell them that the billboard shouldn't be there unless they want the same scrutiny shown to the Atheist billboards which call God a myth, a fairy tale and a lie. I don't care what you believe or how you present it as long as we all have the right to express ourselves without violence or destruction of property.
I have said for years that ALL scientists, including evolution scientists agree that heterosexuality is the natural default setting of human sexuality and anything that veers from that default setting is a deviation from the natural state and is therefore a deviant sexual behavior. After all, all scientists cannot seriously disagree that all animals and man requires a female and male reproductive system to procreate.
blah blah blah
Atheists seem to think that all that for which the human is built is survival. Why then do they abandon what is natural and commit instead acts that do not benefit our race in any way.
It is completely natural. The proof of that is, some individual animals in over 1500 species within the animal kingdom exhibit gay tendencies and behavior.
they can't produce life, i am still waiting for my daughter to snap out of it and bring life to a precious child. i feel really bad that i don't have a grandchild of her's.
Gays want the "born gay" issue to go in that direction for one reason, so they can collect a check from being a mental screw-up from birth. Claiming they were born gay is a way of offsetting their guilt from being a pervert. Weak minded people seek people of like mind, or in other words, water seeks its own level. These people can't handle a normal relationship, so they seek deviant lifestyles that allow them to do whatever they like without retaliation or ridicule from within their own community.
It's ubiquitous in nature.

It must be miserable going through life being so stupid. Looking just the left of the circled image or just above it, you can see the that it is reversed. In reverse, it is the Japanese kanji for Temple.
