    Alright kiddos…say this with me…”We are a constitutional republic–not a democracy”

What is disturbing to me is that the individual seems intelligent…..Yes, I know she is a purse snatcher and tried to bite the lawyer. I want her to pay for her crimes–restitution to the elderly woman is a must…
But why did she choose to steal? It can’t be because she had no choice…..there are too many government programs…..I am truly intrigued by this person…She may be a streetwise thug,,,,but maybe theres hope for her–after she pays her debt to society and the elderly lady.

The only thing I admire about progressives, libs, and democrats is that they dont get into these little ******* contests amongst themselves. Pot? Really? I can think of 109 more important things that this country needs to do before legalizing pot. J. H. Christ.

FairTax, Flat Tax– I dont care. The IRS is the most abusive and invasive entity in the Government. No matter how well you try to comply, if the IRS gets a wild hair, they can and will make your life a living hell.

If you venture to Georgia, just stay away from the A-T-L and surrounding areas and you’ll be fine.

    Gonzo,
Did you go to UGA? I graduated in 2001.

What they should have done is this: Raise everyone’s premium by $600 per year. Then tout this exciting new program where you get “earn” money by being healthy. In order to reduce the premium, you can get weighed, measured, prodded and poked. Your choice.

At least thats what their major competitor did with smoking (whom I work for).

This is second information, so take it for what its worth. I work with a young lady whose father owns a small ranch in California. He installed solar panels about 2 years ago to run the farm and is completely off the grid. The city and state are now wanting to tax him on his solar panels.

When the pediatrician asked that question the wife and I with our first born, I was little slow on the draw because I was so taken back by the question. My wife, who knows me too well, saw that I was getting ready to say a version of “none of your gd business” and answered yes and then shot me “the glance”. I bit my tongue but it still bothers me to this day.

Never, ever ask a question you dont already know the answer to. Debate 101.

Its always the one bonehead who feels he/she is “too smart” to follow the rules (gun safety in this case) that ruins it for the rest of us. And here come the anti-gun nuts in 3…2….1…..

    Mr. The_Jerk,
Care to back up your assertions with actual facts? You know, like this article did.

Swamp-Donkey—what are you talking about? My tolerance for tools such as yourself is growing shorter by the day. So lets get down to brass tacks, shall we? What should the “rich” pay as their “fair share”? Oh, yeah first define rich. Then define fair share. Then give me a concrete number that they should pay to get the nation out of 16 trillion dollars of debt. And as far as I know, there are no trillionaires. The problem with progressive class warfare morons like you, is that there is no number except that it is never enough. GFY and all your progressive friends.

UseTP2wipe:Exactly how is fascism aligned with right? If you take the political spectrum with anarchy as the most extreme right and total government control as the most extreme left, where would facism fall?
Hint: Websters definition of facism:a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

You progressives throw out terms that you dont understand. Fascism is no where near the right side of the political spectrum, you dolt

    MaryBethElizabeth……
You are a sad sack of liberal poop…..no more.

“Gun ownership–a precursor to gun violence…” Thats like saying food is precursor to obesity….these people are idiots.

Only the left is trying to make this political. Go figure.

This could be a win-win situation. The chemical company has the perfect commercial for their product. Film a humorous ad with the home-owner and then replace his lawn. Help him find another
spot to have his fundraiser and become a sponsor. Long story short problem solved.
