  They were discovered in 1978. So, to be more precise, they were discovered 33 years after the end of World War 2, not 40 years.

  Local news radio just said that the police have been communicating with child through a piece of PVC pipe. Also the child he abducted is autistic and has to take meds, and that he has been receiving his meds since this happened.

  One of my co-workers just told me that around Christmas time, he was arrested and charged with “being a menace” and had a court date set for today (Jan 30) for that charge.

  It’s not clear on why he was already on the run from the cops, though.

  Same here, I’m in Daleville. A couple of guys I work with have told me that supposedly this guy is a Vietnam vet, and that people who know him are saying he’s had one of those “the government is out to get me” mindsets. Guess all that is just heresay at this point.

  All I know is, if it were my kid he took hostage….woe be unto him!

  Don’t blame the fight on budget cuts…blame it on the fact you put a bunch of idiot “parents” in the same room together that, for some reason, fell the need to congratulate a 4 – 5 year old kid for accomplishing the complex tasks of finger painting (without eating any), glueing macaroni to sheets of construction paper in random patterns (without eating the glue), and the astounding ability to remember which sleeping mat is theirs when it’s nap time!

  My wife and I had it out back in May about this pre-school graduation crap because our 4year old was “graduating” from pre-school…complete with a cap and gown ceremony, and I flat out refused to buy a cap and gown and attend the “ceremony”. It’s f’n stupid!

  Same goes for you child-worshipping soccer moms who at best have a mediocre life and feel the need to validate your crappy existence through your children, that plaster the back of your mini-van with “My child is an honor student at so-and-so elementry school” stickers. Tell you what…when your kid graduates high school at 15, figures out how humans can travel faster than the speed of light, or cures cancer, THEN put a sticker on your car! I’ll even buy one from you…”Mrs. Jones’ kid cured cancer!”

  You self-important, miserable brood mares need to get a life…give your pre-schooler a smiley face sticker and take their asses to Dairy Queen, you pretentious cows!

  Guns don’t kill people. People don’t kill people. Physics kills people. The fact that two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time without one or the other, or both, being destroyed in the process…that’s what kills people!

  Only reason politicians want to regulate guns is because they are afraid that one day, the citizenry will get fed up with their crap and start using their guns to take back the government.

  Personally, I can’t wait for the show to start, because I’m a pretty good shot.

  I’m missing the empathy gene? Not true.

  I feel compassion, sympathy, empathy, and pity for ones that deserve it. For example, if the guy that had his manhood challenged went outside and shot someone else in the head – just so he could prove how much of a man he is – I would feel sympathetic to the person he shot.

  When I saw mothers & fathers weeping in the streets, holding their dead children…babies…while serving in Iraq, it was all I could do to hold it together (and no, I wasn’t the one that killed the babies, smart ass).

  When I helped bury, and fold the flag, of one of my friends that died in combat, and handed that flag to their widow, I was filled with compassion & sympathy.

  When someone in my unit took his M-16 and tried to shoot himself in the chest…because he didn’t want to be in Iraq anymore…and killed himself…my pity meter dropped to zero as I shook my head.

  When the idiot in this story shot himself in the head because someone challenegd his manhood, yeah well, I’ll say it again…my first comment stands.

  Sorry if my attitude & opinions about stupid people makes you feel ill…but I refuse to get all weepy-eyed about some jack ass that shoots himself in the head just because some other jack ass “challenged his manhood”…over a webcam, no less!
