All I can say is let the tweets roll! You don’t know what you’re dealing with until the bigots open their mouths! I once was in a sailing club and someone made an anti-Semitic remark about a potentially new member. Several members tried to hush up the speaker, but it too the Jewish member (we had one and not the potentially new candidate) to stand up and say “Let him speak his peace. You cannot deal with prejudice until you can discuss it! He wasn’t as interested in arguing the point as having the OTHER members argue the point! Kudos, to a brave and intelligent voice in the crowd! (And, congratulations, kid, on your great performace! Sing proudly, and let the bigots have their say–their neighbors will straighten them out, and you will have earned your place on your merits, not your race, heritage or culture! And, thanks, for your dad’s service to his country–our country!

You can bet that MOST of the GOOD news NEVER gets printed/covered–it simply doesn’t fit the AGENDA! She showed a lot of composure, not making him ‘dance’ for the 9-1-1 operator! It’s really a shame he didn’t get the gunshot wound he deserves! I wonder if an ‘electric’ patio wouldn’t help discourage these miscreants! I’m pro-NSA and I appreciate their legacy mission! But, we have had mission creep and the necessary checks and balances appear to be missing from their current endeavors! NSA is CRUCIAL to our survival, but IRS has DEMONSTRATED what can happen with a government run amok! NSA isn’t immune to misbehavior and needs to operate within a defined and maybe not-so-public set of constraints! Snowden didn’t give away any secrets! He didn’t reveal their methods! He didn’t ‘compromise’ their collection capabilities! But he sure cr4pped on their birthday cake! Our ONLY check and balance to a secretive agency are loyal employees that are willing to sacrifice their careers to disclose when things cross the line! Shame on NSA and OUR GOVERNMENT for NOT having the forum to address Snowden’s, and others’ concerns–in private, but to the satisfaction of the complainant! I hope we can work this out without dismembering a really great agency, filled with selfless civil servants and their military partners! But, a 1984 archival repository of ALL data known to anyone, available forever, is just a little too much power for anyone! If Congress weren’t so busy shoving Obamacare down our throats and tearing down each other in personal attacks, maybe they could get back to work on the important stuff! Nah! They ALL have to go–a complete turnover, and it can’t happen too soon! And, let’s get the worst human behaviors out of government, as OUR CONSTITUTION was intended to do!

These two gentlemen clearly misunderstand each other! Bill Cosby is talking about “Black Muslims”, which are an affinity group that embraces SOME of the tenets of the Muslim faith, AS THEY UNDERSTAND IT! They are no more like the ‘radical’ Muslims Allen West cites than Christians are to Muslims! We made a big mistake many years ago letting Muslim Imams into our prisons in the name of Freedom of Religion! A number of black prisoners rejected Christianity, as the religion of those that locked them up, without acknowledging the reasons for which they were locked up. The ‘Black Muslim’ movement emerged from this period, AND THEY DO subscribe and live by a strict set of religious tenets, the most visible of which include family discipline. I’m NOT CLEAR if they are subscribers to the ‘Kill the White Babies’ movement! Said movement is a bit odd because it would be so much more effective to be FOR the “Let’s STOP killing beaucoup black babies!” Check the abortion statistics if you think this isn’t a problem. Allen West is absolutely right about the many homicidal behaviors emanating from ‘The Muslim Community’, and Bill Cosby is a bit myopic in his observations about ‘The Black Muslims’! They are simply NOT the same thing, AND neither side looks at the WHOLE story! And, Allen, you’ve got my vote ANY DAY OF THE YEAR, whether you are running for public office or hitting the airwaves with your (our) views, or just getting vocal as a patriotic and duty-drive
