Plenty of establishment types have jumped on the #nevertrump train as well. Don’t you remember when poor loser Mitt came out with his commercial about the evil Trump?

Guess they never gave you lunch breaks when you were in the work force. Or you never worked a non 9-5 job, or got a vacation, or worked from home, etc, etc.

So then why is it touted as such a big point when people say (inaccurately) that Trump supporters are uneducated? If being educated doesn’t really mean much then why point it out? Sounds like now that the myth of Trump supporters being uneducated is unraveling people are moving the goal posts.
Keep moving them…it won’t change the fact that Cruz has zero chance.

Jeez, you had to do a lot of qualifying just to get a scenario where Ted is winning. I mean sure, you could also say if we just count votes for Cruz he would be winning but that’s not how it works.

I don’t buy that for a second. And that’s not how it was phrased by the OP above or in many of the numerous comments I have seen. The fact that over the years on this site I’ve seen people so freely throw around terms like low-info voter (a direct reference to voter education) but not use it here shows to me that they are specifically talking about education in general.
Cruz supporters can frame it as just a comment on their voter intelligence as a cop-out but I’m not buying it.

If that’s the case and being “educated” doesn’t really mean that much then why are Cruz supporters so quick to point out (inaccurately) that Trump supporters are uneducated?
Cruz Supporter: “But…but…Trump supporters are uneducated!”
Trump Supporter: “Actually that’s not true” *cites proof*
Cruz Supporter: “But…but…being educated doesn’t really mean anything!”
Cake and eat it too?

Keep pushing the poorly educated myth….and people wonder why we call him Lying Ted
“Take education: on average, voters with a high-school education or less have made up 16% of the Republican electorate overall and a fifth of Mr Trump’s voting base; but college graduates and postgraduates account for 43% of his support. Looking at income: voters earning under $50,000 have made up 29% of the electorate and 32% of Mr Trump’s support. Those earning over $100,000 have accounted for 37% of the electorate and 34% of his base. In Illinois, for example, he took 46% of the vote among low earners, but they made up only a quarter of the electorate, whereas he attracted 39% of the highest earners, who made up two-fifths of that primary’s voters. “

And now the latest Rasmussen poll has Trump up by two on Clinton. Cruz still losing in all polls vs Clinton.
As I said, Trump is on his way up and Cruz is on his way down.

Poor Carly, she was so shocked by the new polls out of Indiana she fell over.

Yep, They keep pushing the uneducated voter bit but it’s false. Even the economist (No friend of Donald if you read their articles) has shown that.
