@Fred Noonan I don’t think you know what a troll is. A troll isn’t someone who has a difference of opinion. Are you that unsure of you ideas that you are afraid of dialog?

Thanks everyone for the good replies. I am in no way anti-capitalism however I believe it has it’s drawbacks as well as Churchill’s quote points out. Some fall through the cracks and sometimes it can foster greed and these things can lead to unjustified inequalities. In a nutshell I’m looking for how can we take care of the “widows and orphans” that James talks about in the bible and live the spirit of Matthew 25:40 in a economic system that is inherently survival of the fittest.

So basically when it suits you you will break a promise.
At the time when the candidates pledged to support the republican nominee (a pledge Trump went back on months ago, by the way), Trump had yet to perform most of his flips on conservative issues. This was also before Trump personally attacked the majority of his opponents, including cruel attacks on their family members.
Ted Cruz is no longer bound to support a "man" who has shown himself to be such an evil megalomaniac.

But it was. How do you think we got Separation of Church and State? Let’s not return to the Divine Rights of Kings that we left behind in England and Europe.
[-1] May 27, 2016 at 3:33pm
Agreed! Glad to someone gets it. Separation of Church and State. I don’t want some politician pushing their version of Christianity and morality on the people. I’ll make that decision for myself thank you. I have no desire to see our country become a Christian Iran.
Oh really? It's already been pushed out of the schools and most of the courts and businesses, and our country is so much better off now, right??

TSully: He speaks for the Cruz collective. You will assimilate!
 May 27, 2016 at 3:11pm
Now, now…as I’ve been scolded before on this site Cruz was compared to Moses not Christ (Messiah) and therefore their aspirations are not messianic, although just as confused and ill founded.

Well said with regards to social conservatives and their desire to control individuals. Wish you wouldn’t have mixed in the “not eligible” argument as it’s really a separate subject not germane to this article.
 May 27, 2016 at 3:05pm
Exactly, they push the social issues that government has no business regulating. Not unlike the left.

News flash, Cruz can’t overturn roe v. wade. And the judges Hillary would submit won’t either.

Everyone hates a lawyer until they need one.

That might be embarrassing for some when it’s cold.
Theatre people tend to know a lot of gay folks. Nice people. most of the time. Makes it a bit confusing when society makes an accommodation for tem and suddenly, they turn into Mussolini marching on Rome!?

I like it!

Basket weaving would probably be better than “psychology of gender”. At least with basket weaving you could actually make a product that someone might buy.
That was more of an academic class, and my university did not offer a degree, but you declare an area of special emphasis.
As for the marketability of the psychology of gender, I would submit that some out there are making pretty good money and have been pretty successful marketing this new fad to the bored and directionless of our US liberal Democrat population. It truly has become quite the trend. But like all trends, how long will it be until the excitement dies out and we get back to normal?
Technically, I had a course that included methods of basket weaving... but it was an archaeology course and it was looking at how tools (stone/bone/metal/etc) changed over time in prehistory peoples. When we got to the "basket weaving" portion, everyone had a laugh, including the prof.

Did it have to be badminton? Or was he just fulfilling his PE credits? I took Judo and Fencing for mine.

Accurate reporting? This is The Blaze, there is just enough reporting to perpetuate the echo chamber.

I’ve been wondering that too. I think Biden is the only person that can really give Trump a run for his money in the sense that they both speak bluntly and are no strangers to gaffs.
