  • No matter what Sarah says, where she goes, or what she does, she will be ridiculed, raked over the coals by her own people, and sacrificed for political gain. She gets so much grief over leaving the job of governor when she did it to benefit the people of Alaska. Her legal battles from all the crack pots who were scared of her were consuming her and making it impossible for her to do her job, and that was the plan by the Obamites. Someone made a comment that she would given in to special interests and political pressure, but she hasn’t backed down yet.

I admire her and wish her success in whatever endeavor she decides is right for her. She’s beautiful, strong minded, intelligent, savvy with good moral character, is a great parent and a devoted wife, and the liberals are scared to death of her. I have observed that liberals like to accuse, accuse, accuse, because that cannot debate. There are plenty of Republicans that do that too so we all need to be informed before we condemn and accuse,

  • She IS hip, what are you talking about. She looks great, works hard at staying in shape and her clothes are not at all inappropriate for her age. Good grief, a Chic Fi Let T-shirt and a rhinestone belt with her jeans. That same outfit on most women her age might look inappropriate because they don’t look so good in it….just a little bit jealous, heh?

  • I don’t trust Christie any further than I could throw him, and judging from the size of him, that ain’t very far!

  • At what point do you consider a fetus a baby, only after its been born? I’m a NICU nurse and I’ve seen a lot but check out this picture…

  • Your comments are nearly identical to my thinking and intent to comment as I read this sentence: ” (Mr. Obama) This is your chance to correct history and restore liberty”. What the writer and victim clearly knows but is unwilling to accuse, is that Obama doesn’t want us to have liberty. His entire intent and those in the DNC, is for guns to be confiscated so that we can be more like Europe, and he can have free reign over the unarmed population, Sadly, I think he will do it in the near future if Congress doesn’t get its act together. Congress has become completely irrelevant and incapable of stopping Obama. Are there not a handful of Democrats left that haven’t fallen off the progressive cliff? My God, JFK would be considered a Tea Party president in the current democratic party. I don’t think there is any stopping him.

  • Perhaps you’ve already read it but Judge Napolitano’s a book Roosevelt and Wilson is a good read, very good but there are some parts where he injects opinion and somewhat representing it as fact which occurs when he is trying to tell you what some person he is talking about was thinking without any evidence to back up his assumption.

  • @GB0000 Hey, as a proud southerner, I have never seen the confederate flag as anything but a symbol of being proud of living in the south and no one I knew believed it to be a symbol of racism. We were not taught to hate in my neck of the woods. Not even Yankees. Geez, I guess I’m too stupid to get it, you know, that I’m supposed to be a racist. Unbelievable! The media has done a pretty good job of indoctrinating you Yankees to believe that all southerners are inbred, stupid, and racist. Honestly, I’ve lived in 3 southern states and 2 northern states, NJ & OH, and of all the people I’ve ever met in my life, the nicest, friendliest, ,most honest, and smartest people I’ve known are from the south. I don’t fly a confederate flag but I might just go get one tomorrow. You need to lose that arrogant Yankee attitude of yours.

  • @ Publius–I don’t think anyone in this discussion is trying to justify slavery, at least it doesn’t appear to me that way. I certainly don’t but I can admire Washington his leadership humility along with other qualities I admire. He understood the nature of mankind that allowed him to predict what could happen with an unchecked government therefore he could advise on his ideology regarding the items discussed in this article; political parties, war, & public debt. Even as a liberal, you would likely agree with his comments, even though he owned slaves. but you don’t comment on the article, you simply wait to attack, like a lion pondering it’s prey. I can tell before I get to the end of a person’s comment that you will be next with an insult or argument before I ever see your name. Your game is to accuse, insinuate, & appear as though you are taking the moral high ground. Your Tea Party remarks show your ignorance of a conservative mindset. Some here are more educated than others just like those on your left side who want their Obama phone & their “Obama money”. People’s life experiences generally shape their political mindset, ie; how they’ve been indoctrinated by their families, schools, churches, a loved one, what they read, and positive & negative encounters with the govt., etc., so lighten up & get your thrills in a healthier way. Anger only hurts you. No one else cares that you are mad. I learned that one the hard way.

  • Yet FDR started the whole ball rolling for all our entitlement programs. I don’t think he practiced what he preached. Do you?

  • With all the political correctness and the fairly recent rise in anti-semite activity, do you really think there is hatred of Muslim and favor toward Israel? Based on what I read in the news I believe we are truly going in the opposite direction that you stated. If what SNL did this past weekend on their skit called DJesus Unchained, how fast do you think Iran and other Muslim countries would be killing Jews and Christians?
