It should not be decided by any government. Marriage is a religious rite and is protected from government interference by the 1st Amendment. Any Law that has been made regarding marriage, yes even the tax code that gives preferential treatment to those that are married, is illegal.

I am from California. I left because the conservatives have no real voice this will give them the opportunity to have a voice. Plus they would not have an additional 10 senators they would only have 8 for a total of 10.

My last post did not get all of what I posted here is the last verse:

    Here I stand
    In the light of day
    Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway

The song is sung very well. I am just not all that keen on the lyrics.

    “Let It Go”

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
    A kingdom of isolation,
And it looks like I’m the Queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried

Don’t let them in, don’t let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know
    Well, now they know

Let it go, let it go
    Can’t hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door

    I don’t care
    What they’re going to say
    Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway

    It’s funny how some distance
    Makes everything seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can’t get to me at all

It’s time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me
    I’m free

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
    You’ll never see me cry

    Here I stand
    And here I’ll stay
    Let the storm rage on

My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
    I’m never going back,
The past is in the past

Let it go, let it go
And I’ll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
    That perfect girl is gone

    Here I stand
    In the light of day
    Let the storm rage on,
    The cold never both

Why is this topic of homosexual marriage even an issue? It is covered in the 1st Amendment.

    AMENDMENT I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Any law that even mentions marriage is government support of religion. It is all unconstitutional. We need to fight the fact that government is even in the marriage business, in court, on this standpoint.

According to the Left, its a woman’s choice what she does with her body. I say throw their own words and actions against them.

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked, ‘What are all those clocks?’

St. Peter answered, ‘Those are Lie-Clocks.

Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock.

Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.’

‘Oh,’ said the man, ‘whose clock is that?’

‘That’s Mother Teresa’s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.’

‘Incredible,’ said the man. ‘And whose clock is that one?’

St. Peter responded, ‘That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life.’

‘Where’s President Obama’s clock?’ asked the man.

Obama’s clock is in Jesus’ office.
He’s using it as a ceiling fan.

So why din’t she sing the fourth verse, that’s the best one.

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved homes and the war’s desolation!
Blessed with victory and peace, may the heaven-rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

I think the house needs to introduce legislation to turn all federal parkland back over to their states.

I think the reason that they have Amy do the hot list is because she is hot.

Look at the summary of the First Amendment. They are trying to slip in that idiotic separation of church and state.

A very simple solution LEARN ENGLISH! Did the Italians do this crap… No! Did the Chinese… No! What makes them so special that the United States has to conform to them. Learn English or go back where you came from.

    On what ICE said:

Earlier on Thursday, an official with ICE said it was “categorically false” that Alharbi had ever been considered for deportation.

According to the Urban Dictionary: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Categorically%20False

    Categorically False:
    1. A term frequently used by politicians when accused of something scandalous. It means: “I did it, but as long as there’s no smoking gun I will deny it completely.” Most such scandals involve illicit sex, bribery, influence peddling or misuse of public funds.

    2. A worn-out public relations phrase that nobody believes anymore. Nixon’s famous remark — “I am not a crook” — sounds positively Shakespearian in comparison.

“The accusation is categorically false!,” said South Carolina Republican Nikki Haley. She is accused of having an “inappropriate physical relationship” with the governor’s former press secretary.

My friend miracles come in all shapes and sizes.

The parting of the Red Sea
    The birth of a child
Hitting all the green lights on your way home from work

I could go on God does not have to be extravagant in everything he does, but when he does something no matter how small it is still a miracle.

Didn’t Glenn say to look for or expect miracles?
    I think this qualifies.
