There’s a big difference between forgiving Mark Sanford and entrusting him to be responsible in an official capacity. I’ve forgiven many people who have broken my trust, but I make them earn my trust again. What many of you supposedly conservative posters seem to forget is not only did Mark Sanford commit adultery (an issue between him, his wife, and his mistress), but HE WASTED TAXPAYER DOLLARS DOING SO! That’s no longer an issue of personal behavior, that is a breach of the public trust, and as such, sure I forgive him, but I certainly would not encourage anyone to vote for him even if it does mean a Democrat may get elected..

My answer to this selfish man, clergy or not is… You give GOD 10% of everything, you give her 18% as just compensation for the service she rendered for the few hours you visited her restaurant. If her service was not worthy, speak to her manager, if it was worthy, STFU and pay the tip.

There is a line between discipline, actions taken to remedy bad behavior, and abuse. Discipline has an integral place in the upbringing of children, abuse does not, and this video in most places, for someone with no deep connections in the legal system, would result in well deserved criminal charges.

I am not defending the reprehensible actions of this preacher. However I must bring the accuracy of this article, or perhaps the editing of this article into some question.

This is a misleading statement. In the United States, the median state determined age of consent is 16 years of age. It is true that 16 is the general lowest age of consent, but Indiana is by no means the alone in this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ages_of_consent_in_North_America

Some states put riders for individuals over 18 or for positions of authority Indiana is not one of these states.
