This just proves that neither the Republican establishment nor its grassroots have any principles! It dooms us all to the horror of a collapsing civilization!

This comment reminded me of this:
    Isaiah 5:20
20 ¶Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

A “woe” is a warning! We live in a day of great evil that is being promoted by the devil and his mortal servants as ok. God’s justice can not be delayed forever. That’s true both of individuals and societies!

Katie Couric — part of the Propaganda Press!
Their objective is NOT to inform. It’s to indoctrinate!

For once, I would like to see an event like this, or a sports event, include the last verse to the Star-Spangled Banner. Why don’t WE begin a movement to encourage the singing of the last verse:

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

I read a similar survey that indicated that about HALF of Britons now say they are atheist! Is that the “no religious affiliation” this survey was referring to?

It wasn’t just Shell. I read earlier this morning that Microsoft and Intel announced lay-offs today also! But stocks are up double digits to close to another record high, thanks to the money printing of central bankers.
Corporate profits have declined two years in a row, and P/E ratios are now at the same level they were right before the last market crash in May 2008. Over the following months, stocks plunged 57%.
But our national debt has DOUBLED in that same period! Our debt is growing 5X faster than our GDP! A debt crisis is coming, and it will be calamitous beyond anyone’s imagining! What will be the consequences when, overnight, 110 million Americans can no longer have their government entitlements?! There will be bloodshed!

It wasnt’ Trump that caused the popping of the real estate bubble. It was the artificially low interest rates supported by Warren and Bubbles Bernanke that created the bubble that collapsed because it was unsustainable.
Bernanke called these bubbles a “wealth effect”. These progressives are convinced that if they just create enough debt and print enough money, they can have perpetually bigger government and prosperity. They’re wrong!
There is a calamity coming. It will dwarf the Great Depression that was also a result of progressive collectivist philosophy!
Calamity is certainty. Plan and prepare accordingly! Liberals won’t! WE WILL!

Some here have mischaracterized what Sen Weiler has proposed. He’s not “legislating morality”! He is just saying that “no porn” should be the default setting, and that choosing porn should require an “opt in” — a choice! That’s neither legislating morality nor fascism! That’s common sense!
I support Senator Weiler in this! If people want porn, then they should need to “opt in” rather than have easy porn acceessibility be the default setting for our children!

This is part of a broader agenda to destroy free speech in both Canada and the US. They are taking Satan as their inspiration source! It is he who wants to destroy freedom of speech and freedom of conscience in North America! He would like nothing more than to silence Christians once and for all!

How can Pope Francis be that twisted?
It’s comparing apples to oranges to equate conversion by FORCE with conversion by PERSUASION! There is no comparison between the two! One — force — is the devil’s method. The other — persuasion — is God’s! God respects the free will of each individual. The devil doesn’t!

This just proves that Republicans don’t have any principles that they’re willing to stand up for any more! It’s not just about WINNING, nor preventing someone else from winning. That’s just a vote for POWER, and it guarantees that we will remain on a perpetual downward path toward destruction! I’m glad I’m no longer a member of the GOP.

“In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.” –Thomas Jefferson.
“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.” John Quincy Adams

I intend to stand before the Great Judge at the last day having voted for principle, not power nor party! That way, I can always have a clear conscience.

It was the Smoot-Hawley Tariff (ie, a trade war) that many economists believe made the Great Depression much worse, causing US exports to decline by half.
While I don’t disagree with the sentiment behind Mr Trump’s comments, it may be unwise to dismiss history. We may be doomed to repeat it!

What amazes me is that so many of these co-called “churches” think they can decide. They don’t care what God thinks, or what He has commanded regarding homosexuality for 4000 years. Instead of changing themselves to His standards, they think they can change Him to theirs! Wickedness! They are not God’s church; they’re the churches of men instead!

That’s pure hogwash! Mormon leaders don’t endorse any political party. The leaders DO encourage them to be involved, however!
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches that the US Constitution is an inspired document. Neither Clinton nor Trump is a supporter of the Constitution. Every Mormon I know is deeply concerned that there is NO good choice among either major political party this year!

I joined the Independent American Party — true constitutional conservatives!

I live in Utah! Nearly every person I know has expressed deep concern for the nation because there is no GOOD choice among the two major parties this fall. This poll doesn’t reflect the true sentiments of Utahns!

I deleted Breitbart months ago haven’t returned since. Same with Drudge! They’re just another propaganda press network now. Andrew must be rolling over in his grave!

To know that there is no God, one would have be in all places in the universe simultaneously in order to know that God was not there– an impossibility! In other words, one would have to BE god to know that there is no god!
It’s intellectually lazy to simply harden one’s heart and deny God’s existence.

I know that God lives because the Holy Spirit has testified to me of His reality. I am a witness to His reality. I KNOW that He lives!

There are some who have witnessed of His reality, and have actually seen Him. Some of those witnesses are recorded in the Bible. To refuse to accept those witnesses says more about the deniers than the witnesses. To refuse to accept their witness because they haven’t experienced the same, is akin to a person on a jury refusing to accept an eye witness in a trial just because that juror wasn’t there in person on the day that the alleged crime took place!
I am a witness to God’s mercy and grace because of my own experience with Him. There is nothing of which I am more certain!
One of Satan’s greatest deceptions is to deny not only God’s existence, but his own. As atheists harden their hearts, satan rubs his hands and jumps up and down with glee! “Ha ha, I’ve got another one,” he proclaims.
God is willing to prove Himself to all, but He does it in a way that builds faith and requires effort. It requires a willingness to ACT on what He reveals. The proof comes after that effort, just like with any science experiment.

Newt the newt! I wouldn’t support him with my vote either! He has no principles!
When I stand before my Maker at the last day to account, I want to be able to say that I stood for principle, not party. Voting for a party is just a vote for power! It guarantees that we will be on a perpetual downward path as a society!
In his farewell address to the nation, George Washington warned about the destructiveness of a spirit of party. It’s ultimately a loyalty to the pursuit of POWER over principle.

“In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock.” –Thomas Jefferson.

To all those who fatalistically think that humans shouldn’t intervene to save the robin’s eggs, I would remind you that humans are part of “nature” too! We have just as much right to intervene as the snake did! Perhaps God put me there at that moment to save those little creatures!
Would we take the same attitude if it was a human baby at risk of being devoured by a carnivore? Of course not! That’s our human hypocrisy at work! No doubt the robin feels the same way toward it’s kin that we would feel toward a human infant!
Don’t buy the lie that it was “destiny” for those baby birds to be eaten. Perhaps their real destiny was to be saved by a compassionate human instead!

  • [23] May 16, 2016 at 12:53pm

If I had been there, the snake would have been sliced open to retrieve the eggs while they were still viable! I’m part of “nature” too!
