Roku Slims Down With New Internet-Streaming Device Design

It’s smaller and I don’t have to hook up my laptop?
Roku Slims Down With New Internet-Streaming Device Design
January 7, 2013 at 4:22pm
Got a Roku last year to go with my GBTV subscription. Canceled cable and got Hulu, Amazon, Netflix. Another article on The Blaze talks about new deal with Time Warner and getting cable content through the Roku. I’ve been considering a second box (current one is in bedroom) and I think I’ll wait for this new one to come out. As I hooked up my old one I lamented that they didn’t have something like this.
Looking forward to it.
Radio Host Alex Jones Gets in Spat With TSA at Texas Airport — See the Photos
January 7, 2013 at 4:06pm
You’re complaining about TSA overreach (no pun intended), just imagine the actions they would take in the aftermath of an assault on a TSA officer. TSA is unionized now, and they would go into overdrive to “protect” TSA officers. They’d have screeners carrying tasers at checkpoints and any kind of perceived aggressive speech or action would become a federal offense.
It is therapeutic to vent, but keep in mind that all actions have consequences and this administration never wastes a crisis. All travelers would be punished for the actions of one.
Report: Soldiers With ‘Mutant Powers’ Coming…But Is Anyone Considering the Implications?
December 31, 2012 at 11:00pm
I’m thinking of the comments I’ve heard from military and science people before about how by the time the public hears about something it has already been deployed in the field for years. That was in context of hardware tech (jets, communications etc.) but there is no reason it couldn’t apply to the bio-tech as well.
DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) has been working on “Force Enhancement” or super soldier programs since the 50′s. The Nazis were obsessed with it, and we collected a lot of their scientists after WW2 through project ‘Paper Clip.’

As long as the keep the ability to make that choice and recognize the distinction…
I’m afraid we are more likely to see “Universal Soldier” as apposed to “Captain America.”
Three Police Officers Shot, Gunman Killed Inside N.J. Police Station
December 30, 2012 at 7:41am
I don’t understand how this happened. Aren’t there laws in place that make it illegal to resist arrest, and steal equipment from the police?
The local politicians have obviously been lax in their duties. The ATF should impose regulations that require all municipalities to make it illegal to shoot police officers. That way this will never happen again.
No Time Wasted: Dems Plan to Introduce High-Capacity Magazine Ban on First Day of Congressional Session
December 30, 2012 at 7:21am
I think the House Republicans should say,
“You can have a 5 year high capacity ban right after you pass a balanced budget for 2013.”
Better yet,
“You can have the 90′s assault weapon ban again for the the same period of time as the original. All you have to do is pass a budget that goes back to 90′s spending levels also.”

French Court Nixes Socialist President’s 75% Tax Rate: ‘Unfair’
December 30, 2012 at 6:57am
@The_Jerk
Blaming the “Jewish” banking cartels hurts your argument and exposes true intolerance and antisemitism. Leave personal prejudices out of it.
The Banking cartels DO manipulate world currencies. The Federal Reserve is the worst offender.
The Rothschilds were evil and have done tremendous harm throughout history. The family’s original ethnicity has nothing to do with their actions. Ignorant antisemitism has been a safety blanket for them through history as well. Everyone gets caught up in demonizing Jews and ignores the REAL economic and political problems. Don’t fall into that trap yourself.
A hundred years from now should we blame every terror incident on the Bin Laden family, and therefore all Muslims are terrorists because the Bin Ladens are Muslim?
The Truth has no agenda, you can’t have it both ways.
Proposed gun law wouldn’t ban guns, but…
December 28, 2012 at 5:06pm
Pricing citizens out of gun ownership has the same effect as banning the guns outright. Those with wealth and power will still have access, and criminals will still get their hands on guns too. That leaves the law abiding poor and middle class citizens defenseless. And that is the REAL goal.
