  i am a conservative. i am atheist. and i find it difficult when my conservative friends imply that i am “not really conservative” because i am atheist. and naturally, my atheist friends don’t like the fact that i am conservative. i just don’t fit in anywhere. frankly, democrat or not, i found his humanist “prayer” a breath off fresh air.

  my only response is that she probably couldn’t have buried the body on her own private property, as burial laws are actually pretty finicky. she would have to register her private property as a private cemetery, and provide means for perpetual care. so she couldn’t have offered that up unless she had deep pockets (the funeral and cemetery industry is VERY heavily regulated).

  i disagree whole heartedly. everything this young man said is spot on. our teachers today are overpaid union workers who do nothing but read from books and packets. we need more people like bliss in this country who sees and calls things for what they are.

  i guess the lesson here is that guns never solve anything! if only the air marshall had not been there, the gunman could have shot more people (read: more than zero) and thus given democrats an excuse to pass more laws!
