I am an Architectural Designer – and have been for 17 years. From the early photos it looks like a non reinforced masonry (brick) building with wood framed interior… Buildings like this collapsed all over the place in the 1989 San Francisco Earthquake. To have a building collapse without some reasonable explanation such as earth movement or incredible weather conditions leaves only a possibility that there was insufficient maintenance against weather to cause such a catastrophic collapse, with the exception of a man made cause for collapse.

I suppose I can’t be the only one that feel absolutely helpless against this monolithic beast that is the IRS and the tyranny it imposes upon We the People, especially when we have a rather corrupt legislature. and some wonder why I want to totally disengage from this abomination. We might as well be slaves in a ancient Greek Democracy where there are no minority rights.

I don’t recall anywhere in the UMC where a Corporal has the right or responsibility to give any information regarding state secrets. A rogue member of our military makes it impossible for the public to trust that military – and since we are in a “war on terror” where the information release gave comfort and aid to the enemy, how does anything other than a death penalty apply if convicted?

Now that the BSA has the spine of linguine, I think I shall halt all support in any fashion for the Boy Scouts of America and remove my son from that organization. I do think I will take my Eagle which I earned, and send it back to the organization that betrayed the principles which enriched and guided my early life. A once great organization that taught boys to become men is now relegated to the ash heap of history.
