  CBRIAN1978, I speak from experience. I am not PC, I love my child unconditionally. Guess what? My other 3 children can make be scratch my head and wonder too. My child is a Blessing as she is. What’s normal?? I don’t consider myself burdened in any sense. ALERT – I’m going to put God into this – - You may try reading “Clowns of God” – CLOWNS OF GOD

  Run Amok??? She doesn’t like her shoes on dumbass. My little 7 year DS daughter doesn’t like her shoes on either. We work on it, NOT tape her socks on.

  Vaman, Yeah I see you guys on Christmas and Easter. I have to ask why do you consider yourself Catholic. Catholic is not a birthright. I was born Catholic therefore I am Catholic mentality is really confusing. They have Lutheran and Episcopalian (sp) Churches that share your beliefs and you don’t have to change a thing. If the Blessed Eucharist is what you claim holds you to Catholicism, there are Lutheran Churches that have moved closer to the Catholic belief of transubstantiation. The thought process that the Catholic Church needs to line up more with “my view of the world” is not going to work. Please move to a denomination that you would obviously be more comfortable. I don’t say this out of hate. You need to find a practice that shares YOUR beliefs.

  I understand your confusion. You don’t want a Savior you want a good luck charm. Get a four leaf clover and move on. You’re another one of those that think we are Christians because we want everything to go our way. Life doesn’t work like that. I ask God for strength and deeper faith when life doesn’t go my way. As I tell my children, you need to get up one more time than you fall.
