  The guy was trying to steal his personal property, so should the victim get to keep the gun since as recompensation to having been violated?? Where is the justice in giving a gun back that you took from someone using it to threaten your life??

  I guess what concerns me is, and a disclaimer to not hurt any regular posters feelings sorry if I do, but there seems to be a constant trend of regular posters and callers to the different shows on the blaze that seem to have the constant theme of a little whacky. Now having said that I am a die hard listener of the blaze, love it, live it. But the following I hear and see do not seem to reflect the attitude or character of the talk show hosts, not bu a long shot. I think the constant loopy talk on the wall here pushes normal conservatives like most here in Utah away from taking serious the many threats we seen thrown at and lied to us on a daily basis these days by “that guy” and his administration, and also keeps many in ignorance and away from knowing the truth, also little man syndrome(the Alan Jackson kind) also makes so many people feel they cannot make a difference even if their fleeing doubts were proven to be accurate and they knew the truth. You put hannity on in front of my dad and he won’t move from the tv till its midnight watching fox, but if it’s not turned to that channel for him he’s not going to surf the 204 channels to get there. So point is, how to get the average person and younger college students interested, how do we keep loony our of truth?? How do I help people around here?? Because of my age and background, everyone would bet money I was pure liberal, and I’m purely not. How do I get word out to people like me, my dad, and brother??

  Glenn, I’m an inactive recovering alcoholic working on rebaptism. I admire you as I see all you have achieved after passing through so many trials. I think most find hope that seeing how people treat you with so much respect after all you have gone through. For me it’s not easy having left the church for a time and now returning ten years later after my mission. I feel hope because of you, although many people don’t care for me any more. They don’t understand what the church is all about I think. So I am just concerned with the state of mind of so many people here in Utah, and the country, but especially here. I think life has been soo good for so long that people don’t take serious the threat of losing our great country and freedoms. I helped my brother pack some things because he’s moving after the semester at BYU, he’s 24, I’m 32. I Hconstantly try to get in his head and get him interested about real life state of affairs, trying to spark an interest in him about the reality of the world we live in, my dad is just like him. Anyways, I mention to him that they heard the two Boston terrorists are Russian Islamists and they have been on welfare, he gets a big surprised look on his face, and says they are Muslims?? I thought they were just two crazy white guys??!!! What is going on with him?? With the country, are so many people so far out of touch with reality?? How can I get through to them, the truth to them?? I don’t want to lose any more battles, suggestions??

  Why is no one mentioning the fact that these young cowards only applied for citizenship for the reason to avoid the max punishment??? They were only recently made citizens and they did not really because they love our country, they took the oath, but they did not really care seriously about becoming citizens, lets not let the letter of the law take us so far off track and away from the reality that they abused the softness of our system and are proving to the world how weak political correctness really is.

  So, Abby Martin on RT just did a story on Hugo, why people (especially libertarians) watch this I have no idea, I watch to see a different point of view, not because they put a few libertarians on and let it stroke my ego. But the point is the English chick she had report commented on how the US has wanted him dead and accusing Obama of doing do, which makes no sense whatsoever. But the most pathetic part is right before how she was saying everytime Hugo went out to publicly speak millions would show up and because there’s so much live in the country he never had to worry about security threats………… Ummm, sweety, if we wanted him dead he would have been dead at one of these totally non-threatening public events, we wouldn’t need to invent a way to pass cancer onto him. Oh, and please let president Ortega, Morales, etc know that western medicine has concluded that excessive alcohol is bad, and even worse excessive tobacco and exposure to the sun can cause cancer;) if they are that against believing everything we suggest they might not live as long as they like.

  So, this is interesting. I live in utah, and just a couple of weeks ago, I also saw black military heli’s flying directly over the Salt Lake City valley, from the north end to the south, and it alarmed me as well. A couple days before that I also heard heavy bombing drill going on out in the desert by where we live, which is not uncommon, but I have not heard the bombs for a while. The helicopters were a different sight though, and it makes me nervous that this is happening all over the country.

  New United States Of American Borders, All the gun holding, law abiding, simple folk, Starting from N dakota-S Dakota Nebraska Kansas Missouri Kentucky and West Virginia and everyone west and The rest of the Country including California can join forces with the non gun toting safest country in the World Mexico, and live happily ever after with Serious Mental, sexual, financial,and drug problems. With out any oil or GOD.The rest of us will live by the laws of the CONSTITUTION, as the Lord wanted it.

  I was 20 years old, went to a Socialist Govorned Country in Central America, and I also converted over 200 people to CHRISTIANITY, and I also stopped counting because numbers are not important. I have since married a girl that does not have my same belief in Religeon, but the same belief in GOD. GOD can be more powerful than we can imagine. And making him unhappy is not on my list of things to do. I have seen his power in Converts, I have felt his wrath literally take me to despair and bring me back out. He is real. What all this means in repect to Musilims, I don’t fully understand, If people are truely in their hearts good natured, I feel God will spare them and if they truely are evil GOD knows. It’s easy to fear him, but why, only we know ourselves as good as he does. Condemning people is not our job, but fighting for what he taught us is our job. Not allowing Tyranny in our last standing free Country is our job. Why others are so quick to condemn us as a people while we the people have little or no control over what our Govt does anymore is like condemning all muslims for the selfish acts of a few Radicals. How there can be peace is beyond me. But, bending over backwards to meet the needs of everyone but the ones that have made this Country great, seems to be contradictory. I am not proud of our GOVT, but I am not willing to give up my rights and freedom becasue the BIG 2 have more power than they should have ever had.
