A lot of retailers other than TGT stock has tanked. Many attribute the Amazon effect, who reported very good numbers. WMT was better than expected, but the mall based retailers are on life support.

Political decisions seldom mesh with business decisions. Democratic socialism, control business through regulation. The aim is to nurture a vote rather than make some one better off.

If I recall correctly, a pinhole would be much too small. A larger hole and enough space to focus, it just may be visible. Agreed it is a small dot and may not be visible. You got me though, it’s raining here.

Think you can make a small round hole in some material and project it on to a piece of whit paper. Cloudy here so I can’t try it.
That hole in the paper trick works for an eclipse when the moon passes between the earth and the sun, but Mercury is too small to see that way.
No one ever reads a whole article. IT states no one can see Mars without telescopes. You can not see it with just a pin hole camera, or welding goggles.

We see Mars all the time at night without a telescope. We wanted to see Mercury today transit the face of the sun. Unfortunately, we didnt have a telescope and sun filter.

The skillset required to flip a burger back then is the same as now. A CEO skillset has had to increase significantly to deal with everything from changing regulations, currency exchanges, hedging, crisis management, risk management, etc., both domestic and abroad. This means 300 million people can flip a burger, while 1 in a million can be a successful CEO.

What difference, at that point, would it make? If it ate the whole earth, there would be no one around ridiculing the wrong.

JR, I always question some one who uses the word “here” where “hear” is appropriate.
