Makes as much sense as a Rick Perry rap song. If this had been done 8 years ago it might have worked. Thank God it wasn’t. Now they just need Chris Tomlin to write a Barry Our Savior song.

Freedom of the press is only sustainable for us all when those who are it’s practitioners TRULY believe in protecting Freedom more than they do in protecting the ‘press’ (themselves).

A little twist on Ben Franklin’s famous “A Little Neglect May Breed Great Mischief”

For want of character, integrity was lost.
For want of integrity, courage was lost.
For want of courage, truth was lost.
For want of truth, honesty was lost.
For want of honesty, a free press was lost.
For want of a free press, knowledge was lost.
For want of knowledge, a free people were lost.
For want of free people, a once great and Free nation was lost.

I used to think the Soviets failed because they didn’t understand human nature. I was partially right. They didn’t understand that the most important part of ‘human nature’ is belief in God – whether ‘confessed’ or not. Athiesm is THE reason they failed.

Unless and until we accept the reality of the danger we will lose. I prefer to think of my grand children with their heads intact. FDR is not one of my favorites but he knew how to lead in war – read the next to very last line and WHO is invoked: http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/PTO/EastWind/Infamy.html

How about the ‘nons’ just go silent for those two words and we can call them ‘pausers’.

Better yet change it to say:
“I pledge allegiance to OUR REPUBLIC, AND OUR Constitution and OUR Flag of the United States of America, one nation of the people, by the people and for the people, UNDER GOD, with liberty and justice for all.”

This should make Demolinsky’s happy. Every little bit helps!

Actually he EXPECTED me to be honest, truthful and trustworthy with EVERYone. But he especially demanded respect solely because he was my Father and disrespect to him was the MOST egregious violation – “don’t give me that insolence and insubordination boy!” Gosh I loved him and miss him!

My dear Dad used a technique that seemed to work very well to always get the truth out of me. At some point when I was about 8 or 9 (1960?) he convinced me (and it took some convincing since I’d done something I knew I would get MY belt used on me for – I was always REQUIRED to wear my belt – he never used his) anyway, he told me that as long as I always told the truth TO HIM that he would not ‘whip’ me. I was in for the surprise of my life when he actually believed me and ONLY proceeded to sternly lecture me for more than two hours about how I needed to make amends, repent, correct, etc, etc. I think I only got my belt used one or two more times in my young life after that. Usually got lectured and restricted after that. I refrained from pushing limits too much because I can still hear him – “If you tell me a lie, you’ll get a whippin’ for what you did AND for the lie”. Back then the George and tree story was still commonly heard from the oldest folks (virtually all of whom were born in the 1800′s) when speaking to us young ones.

Some doctors, psychologists and religious leaders should form a new company that’s a ‘charter school for sex ed’. Set it up so kids can go to a single session once per year starting at age 11 or 12 that their parents pay a small fee for. $25? Classroom environment for 2-4 hours once per year. The sex indoctrination industry in public schools will dry up.

P.C. now officially stands for Party Crasher. That’s exactly what Marx and Lenin and all leftists have always wanted and I’d say at this point they’ve accomplished it. I figure we’ve got maybe five years before we either see a sleeping giant awake or a drugged God-less gaggle drown in the whirlpool circling the drain.

Just yesterday a woman I know well told me that she couldn’t issue an 11 year old kid his library card because he’s required to sign for it and he didn’t know how! Said they won’t teach them ‘cursive’ or as it was called in my day ‘handwriting’. Not home schooled I presume. This might be something pastors could look to in order to help draw parents with kids to church. Come to Sunday School, study the Bible AND learn to sign your name! God Save US(A).

Only one thing left to do:
Pray for Mikey W. to have his own Road to Damascus moment. I’m praying for you Micha-el.

Methinks Billy M. doth protest too much. Someday (soon I hope) whomever has possession of the audio tape from the 70′s or 80′s of BM telling a very rase ist joke will release it. I think someone powerful way up the left’s ‘Chain of Demand’ has something they could deliver very quickly to the public if Mahre doesn’t keep ‘representin’.

    continued:
that hero worship (God replacement) times a thousand or maybe ten thousand. It was nuts and it led to the era of the inmates running the asylum. Too many kids and the Greatest Generation was overcome. It was never about the music although I loved it until after “Revolver”. I’d started losing respect for them when the marijuana deal with Paul erupted. My mom said she remembered girls screaming for Sinatra when she was a kid so she didn’t mind that, but when you consider (seriously) how the culture was steeped in Judeo-Christian ethics and still only 18-19 years from the end of WW2, their dress and haircuts were absolutely revolutionary. It’s hard to imagine another planetary cultural shift like it again unless a ufo with little green men actually lands. I pray the Second Coming of Christ is before that.

1964 was culturally as far away from now as 2064 will be no doubt. Seems kind of strange that some of us who saw it may actually make it another 50 years. I doubt Paul and Ringo will though. Being one month shy of 12 years I had not been hooked on rock and roll yet since I had no older siblings. So once I heard them it opened my ears to all the myriad of groups being ‘discovered’ every day it seemed. I still have the local radio station Top 40 list for the week of my birthday and John, Paul, George and Ringo had 5 of the top 10!! Unheard of before or since. But I only recall these things probably because I wasn’t allowed to ‘participate’ so to speak so I’ve remembered probably more than someone who was allowed to just jump overboard like virtually every single one of my peers did. My dad would not allow anything but ‘high and tight’ haircuts on his four sons even as the hair on every kid in town just got longer and longer. I’ve always been thankful since actually that we had stern rules on us which helped keep us away from dubious influences as we grew up. No one seems to recall that this whole thing was NOT about the music. It was about a sociological phenomenon, which I have long believed had more to do with the killing of JFK only ten weeks before than anything else. A few years ago I heard someone else mention this also. Think of how crazy everyone went after Princess Diana died and multiply that hero worship (God replacement) t

And if ‘available’ make the father help lift the dead murderers body off the table/chair. These guys parents almost certainly messed something up with them. Maybe not, but likely didn’t make corrections needed at younger ages. God rest the soul of the victim and give the family peace.
