  • . I’ve been on the metro-rail when this “lady” has been there. The report doesn’t do justice to the level of obnoxious. She is not only loud, but tends to use either a cup full of loose change as a “maraca”, continuously claps her hands or uses any amount of other objects to just make noise. This is not singing is just noise, much the same as two cats mating would make. The guard didn’t “drag her out” she held on to the bag. He was wrong in continuing to pull on the bag, but it wasn’t his intention for her to fall. Coincidentally, by the time she got to her house, she had already hired an attorney

  • This is were we are as a society. Children deferring the care of their parents to untrained, uncaring strangers. In this particular case the daughter is a nurse and she still chose to have her mother die at the hands of strangers. Wether or not it was this elderly woman time to die, this was not the way to pass. We’ve becomed allous and disinterested in the care of others. We lose touch of our children when they leave to college or move out of our home, seeing or speaking with them only occasionally on “special” occasions. We’ve taken prayer out of our schools. We’re more concern with the feelings of hyphenated Americans than we are of our freedoms and liberties under the Constitution. Our social skills have been reduced to posting on social sites such as Facebook, twitter or even this very one. We are watching the disintegration of our families and our country and all we are worried about is about keeping up with the Joneses. Let’s take care of our family first, the rest will all fall into place. I, for one, would rather die in my own home, surrounded by whatever memories I may have, than at the hands of a “care taker” whose only concern is whether or not they are following protocol.

  • THe new crop of “young guns” are promising. Paul, Rubio, even Cruz are going back to the fiscally conservative values the country is “thirsty” for. Why must so many try to destroy and slander those on our team? If they were to spend half of that energy pointing out the flaws of the socialistic current administration, Obama would’ve been a 1 timer. Sad, truly sad.

  • Doesn’t the fact that Obama was elected, twice, debunk the “unconstitutionality” of your argument? “Natural born citizen” is understood to mean a person who was born LEGALLY in the United States. As you well know by now, Rubio’s parents were legal residents at the time of his birth IN THE UNITED STATES. Furthermore, they both went on to become naturalized citizens. It is bigoted argumets like this that allow the mainstream media to perpetuate the fallacy that conservatives are a bunch of racist hicks.

  • Verce, actually he has. Maybe you ought to buy and read his book. You can read, right? However, I fail to see the point you’re trying to make? Does the date his parents arrived to the U.S. make a difference in your preference of his proposals?

  • There are many misconceptions about Rubio & Hispanics in general. First, Hispanics come in all races, not “brown” or any other color associated with Mexicans, Central or South Americans. Second, it’s Hispanic, NOT LATINO! Latino is a PC terminology created by the media. French, Italians, Portuguese, etc. are examples of those of “Latin” heritage. Once again, Latino is not a race. I come from European heritage from all 4 grandparents, 1 of which happened to be a Spaniard, thus my Hispanic surname. Amalgamating all Hispanics into a “race” is equivalent as calling North Americans (yes including Mexicans) “gringos” and consider IT a race, makes sense? Of course not.
Senator Rubio, is not a “liberal”, he’s not my first choice for president, but at this point, no one is. Mr. Rubio has simply laid out a plan for citizenship, other than building an electric fence, digging a pit, arming the borders, and incarcerating and deporting all illegal immigrants, what “plan” has anyone, DEM or REP, come up with that will make economic and logistic sense? I’m sure that the plan, whichever one we end up adopting, will not be anything like anyone is proposing now, but at least we have a Republican with the testicular fortitude to address the issue now, on his terms, not dictated by the media or the opposing political party. In the Marines we have a saying, “Lead, Follow, or get the hell out of the way”. It seems appropiate right about now.

  • Catholic… Have to agree with Art, Winedude is nothing but a liberal troll. He uses sarcasm in lieu of a coherent argument. His post are nothing but “Paulbots” or liberal diatribes.

  • “We are extremely grateful and feel fortunate to now have an increased ability to support our charities and causes”
Grounded on reality and faith. It is always nice to hear a family like this has the clear mind to help their community. How it should be!

  • Where did the gun come from? Who owned it? Where did the kids steal it from? Why were they “taken” to their parent’s house instead of having the parents pick them up at the police station? Are we at the point were asking questions and holding someone responsible is considered racist, incensitive, cruel? Corporal punishement works! Would these parents take a belt to posterior, it can be assured they’d be too concerned about getting a second round of **** wooping to risk going out a second time.

  • All the Rommey votes will come in in the afternoon, you know, after work.
