  • Maybe we should give her the benefit of doubt. I used to live in Michigan and ran across a few arrogant blacks on occasion.

I mean it’s possible that she was just calling a spade a spade. (No pun intended.)

    Nah … she’s a racist!

  • Isn’t this kind of a non-story? There “might be” someone breaking into my home as I write this… There “could be” cartels running guns into America.

This is the type of story that is created to keep a sense of urgency around an issue that the Left and MSM have deemed worthy of your 24/7 attention. Let’s turn it around and ask why our college students are not legally able to defend themselves? College’s and Universities should allow and encourage anyone who is licensed to carry a firearm to do so on campus. I challenge anyone to name an incident of mass killings that was perpetrated by a licensed concealed carrier.

  • No matter how SCOTUS may rule on DOMA or Gay marriage rights it will be like putting a band aid on a cancer patient. Take a look at http://nathanbeman.blogspot.com/

To find out what’s really happening. Whichever side of the issue you may be on you are being used.

  • sorry … wrong link : http://nathanbeman.blogspot.com/ is correct

  • Atheists seem to be one of the most evangelical groups. They aren’t content unless they attempt to change another’s beliefs. That being said; in today’s world they are quite dangerous. With Islamic jihad persecuting Christians, Jews, and Buddhists throughout the world, the atheist sits back and does nothing … until one day the Muslim’s turn their attention to them. Who will be left to protect their right to believe or not believe? No matter what one may believe, if they have a foundation in the principles of freedom and liberty as this nation was founded, they will step forward to protect the individual’s rights and no oppressive force can resist this indomitable force of good.

  • Sure seems like their may be validity to your theory.

  • Christian,
I didn’t mean to imply that firing upon the kids would have been “right,” but when life or property are threatened it is a legal act. Personally I don’t think he should have even followed the other vehicle not to mention confronted them, and had he been properly trained he likely wouldn’t have done either. On the other side of the coin, to be prosecuted for “going armed to the terror of the people” in addition to a litany of other felonies is a little extreme don’t you think? That’s the same charge that the 911 bombers would have received had they been caught and prosecuted.

  • This is a perfect illustration as to why and how people need to be trained. I can only speak for Nevada law, but in this incident the wife would have been justified to fire upon the 2 that were beating her husband, but as soon as she handed her husband the weapon and the perpetrators began to flee the shooting became unjustified as there was no longer an immediate threat to life or property.

Legal gun owners that have a license to carry their weapon tend to become well versed in the laws of their jurisdiction and act accordingly. The people that are truly concerned with violence and not pushing a gun-grab agenda should take note. Background checks don’t prevent criminals from getting guns, encourage training and increased concealed permit holders and all types of violent crime will shrink exponentially.

  • My position is that “marriage” is a ritual performed by a church, and as such if the LGBT crowd wants to be “married” they need to find a church that has acceptance of their lifestyle within the religious tenants of their belief. The whole problem is that our government has encroached too far in personal liberties and stated that benefits and estate tax subsidies cannot extend beyond the spouse of a married individual. If the governmental restrictions were lifted there would be no need for the religious ceremony of marriage to be extended to the LGBT community.

  • As I recall, about 30 years ago homosexuality was classified as a “mental disorder.” That being the case, under the recently proposed legislation they would be disallowed to purchase or own any firearm.

I know that his article is about Starbucks, and their support for the “gay” lifestyle, but shouldn’t even the GBLT crowd start to concern themselves about how they are being exploited in today’s rhetoric filled political debates?

Personally I don’t like Starbucks, their prices, their atmosphere, or their political outreach. I believe in supporting locally owned businesses that cater to the needs and desires of their local clientele.
