“Now I think it’s kinda fun!” ………..GOOD TIMES! Oh my good grief.

I think they set that up. I don’t think he would have been any smarter than the others, IMO.

It has not changed.

My son is over there. I want to go on a rant sooo bad after hearing Obama’s “big news” today! He can confirm everything you’ve said disabledcovet, and much, much more. It is a complete disaster over there. Listen to what General Keane on Fox News is saying. He, among others, know what is going on. I am just so angry right now!

It was alarming when the kid walked over and “threatened” the other adults. He has quite a life ahead of him.

What an idiot, but on another note, there is no way he has 500,000 legitimate Twitter followers.

“Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me………..” What in the world??? I have never heard him speak before. He seems completely insecure, and just needs to talk about himself in order to remind everyone how wonderful he is. And that voice…….. Wow.

And they have another one on the way, from the looks of it. Scary.

Actually, if I understand correctly, Mr. Lees did not write this letter. He just shared it on his Facebook page, because he thought it was interesting. He didn’t even write it himself, and they fired him for it (well, he resigned)!
I think you had it right the first time. Crude, perhaps, but right. There are times when crudity is appropriate, even if it's unintentional.

My son is in the Army. They don’t see color, what they worry about is who has their back, and who doesn’t. They are all a family protecting each other and the country.

I don’t agree with that last paragraph in the article. My son is in the Army, and we went to visit him one Easter. There was a very high ranking officer there, though I didn’t know who he was at the time. I wish I remembered his name. He came up and shook my husband’s and my hands. When he moved on, my son whispered “Don’t ever wash your hand again, Mom!” He was referring to how important and respected this man was. He was black. My cousin’s husband is a Colonel, and I know in the pictures he posts, there are always other high ranking black men. I can crap on that paragraph.
I love country music, and actually find this song pretty catchy. I had to listen pretty close, because I was alarmed at first! I quickly realized what it was about. STILL, when someone else is in the car with me, I change the station. I think it is meant to be a bit provocative, and it is.

It is so incredibly rude to keep people waiting. I don’t think he is ever on time. Ever.

Cruz wouldn’t accept the Nobel Peace Prize if he didn’t deserve it.

You nailed the big part of why this is a story. Totally missing from the article. Kind of turned me off to him, but I still like most of his music. I do feel for his ex and kids. However, I was watching a show where he was showing his home (on CMT or somewhere) years ago. WAY before any of the controversy. I didn’t think they seemed happy at the time at all. I’ve always had that in the back of my mind. Not any excuse for his behavior. Just a side note.

Go with “maroon” or you’re going to get in trouble again. ;)

I wonder what time the interview was taped?

I know this article is about books, but people need to set higher standards for themselves. When I hear people using foul language, I immediately think less of them because of it. We shouldn’t be conditioned to accept things like this. There are so many words to use in our language. Why choose to “punctuate” your speech with those words that are so offensive?
 March 13, 2015 at 9:56am
YES, and I believe they should. The books that are assigned to our kids are filled with them. Finding a “clean” book to read for a book club is nearly impossible. Otherwise great books are ruined by swear words.
