All true, except there were WMD’s in Iraq. I know there were because we groomed Hussein for his position and sold him the weapons. But I agree with the sentiment. I don’t believe that we have a right to tell any other nation what they can or can’t have, or what laws they can or can’t make for themselves.

    @ The White Wolf,

I am a Marine Corps veteran. I believe that if there were a God ( I’m an atheist), then your assertion would be correct. There is no authority on this earth for our military to be in another sovereign nation, disarming the local populace, and killing people that try to defend their own nation. There just isn’t. You can claim that we went to Iraq or Afghanistan in defense of this nation, but that would be a lie. The same type of lie will happen when and if we go to war with Iran.

If a nation truly attacks ours, then we have every right to defend ourselves. But defending ourselves does not involve house to house violations of individuals’ rights. Furthermore, there is a difference between an accident and following unlawful orders.

Anymore, I don’t think they need to get home safe. I think they need two to the chest and one to the head. Just like any other tyrant.

At least all they got was a note from a lousy realtor. In OKC right now, they are waging a “war” on households that are Latino by enforcing outrageous parking regulations. The idea is that Latinos live in crowded houses with more cars than fit in the driveway or on the street, so they park on the lawn. So the city created an ordinance stating that no car shall park upon the grass. That worked a little and they wrote a lot of tickets. Now they are expanding it so that no person can park a vehicle on their property, but off of the “officially” designated driveway. The results? People who have PAVED or GRAVEL driveways larger than “allowed” by the city are being cited for parking IN THEIR OWN DRIVEWAY!!!

Seems too outrageous to be reality, but I can assure that it is. Of course, statists (colloquially identified as democrats) are in control of OKC. Another testament to their idiocy is the Native American Center that they’ve already wasted tens of millions on that is sitting half complete. They started the project and ASSUMED that the public would just foot the bill when they needed the other 50 million to finish. I personally hope they turn that place into an outdoor rifle range.

Are you speaking of the hoodie tied around her waist? If so, then please see an optometrist.

“I’m just following orders” is not an excuse. Courts have sentenced men to death whom gave that as their excuse for violations of human rights. It should happen more often. This officer may have a conscience, but he didn’t act on it. Therefore, he is a coward, and it is because of people like him that tyranny will flourish.

Funny thing is that the freezer is the last place you want to be in an emergency. Most people think that they are heavy metal walls that offer alot of protection. In reality, they are made with a 2×2 frame, alot of styrofoam, and a skin of sheet metal that is thinner than a credit card. Any gun, even a .22, would easily sail straight through that freezer wall and be just as effective on the other side. So had this been a truly life threatening event, they would have gone from being targets in the open with a chance of escape, to fish in a barrel.

Sadly, people in Oklahoma took refuge last year in a 7-11 freezer from a tornado. They all died.

    @Nabuquduriuzhur
2000 women die each year from botched abortions, over a million children die each year; and the Today Show is hosting guests that say 150 people dying from measles this year to date (already 4 months in) is an outbreak, unprecedented, and toss around ideas like forced immunizations for all children. This world doesn’t seem to make sense does it.

It’s a good thing he didn’t have a wife and child at home with him. He might have been shot 50+ times and left for dead without any chance of medical assistance for more than 2 hours. I still think we need to execute the SWAT teams in AZ for their actions.

And politicians are the ones whom banned the use of DDT! DDT was so successful that it had to be stopped in order to further the agenda of the elitists. They put out falsified studies claiming that DDT weakened egg shells, particularly of bald eagles, when the eagles that they held in captivity were fed meat WITHOUT bones!!! Birds need the calcium from the bones they eat in order to create thick calcium shells around their eggs. Also, they claim that DDT is a carcinogen, but a study on a population of prisoners showed that ingesting massive quantities of DDT actually lowered the rate of cancer in a population!

DDT was the answer to malaria, and it still is. But politicians won’t allow it to be used.

@ fortherecord, Just remember that killing an animal that is actively attacking you while it carries the “title” of officer is a charge of murder. So think twice before you fly off the handle and make false claims. The truth is, unconstitutional or not, the court system in this nation has set precedent and shooting an animal is an act of murder.

No, we are not “single issue voters”, we are conscientious voters. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I had voted for Romney. For me, it isn’t about what letter is next to a person’s name, it is about how they think and act. How they will vote and lead. Romney doesn’t agree with me on hardly a single issue. Ron Paul on the other hand, his ideology agrees with my own more often than not.

So I call you the single issue voter. And I blame you for Obama winning the election. Well, you and all the dead people that voted for him.

@ Runeback, No, Osiris was not the first. Even he is outdated by many more gods.

Let’s put this anti-Iranian BS into perspective shall we? Our nation via the CIA helped to overthrow a benevolent monarchy which ruled in a manner not unlike that of the United Kingdom, which was supplanted by violent Islamic dictators. Sure, the gov’t of Iran is now bat crap insane, but we are the ones that made it that way. Well, us and Russia. If you all really want to know what Iranian people are like, then go talk to one. There are plenty of them living in this nation as we speak and they can give you some great insight into the world outside of what you see on the MSM.

@ horse, you people keep saying that you have the best water around. What does that mean? Where does your water come from? I doubt that it is as good as alot of cities in Oklahoma that pull their water from deep wells. I grew up on well water from a damn good well. We didn’t even need to filter it, but we ran it through a fiberglass filter to keep out the occasional sand that would come up after a drastic change in the water table or currents in the aquifer. I’ve had water from both coasts and in different states that get their water from lakes and reservoirs. None of them taste as pure as well water. They all taste like chemicals and pipe lining.

  • April 18, 2014 at 12:16pm

Wait? They keep treated and processed water that is ready for delivery through the mains in an open air holding tank??? Where the hell are their water towers? What are they thinking? Is there a particle filtration system or carbon/sand filter this stuff goes through before hitting the mains? I lived on well water for the majority of my life and have no problem drinking water straight out of the ground, but to drink water straight out of what is essentially a chorinated and fluorinated pond just sounds ridiculous.

All that said, this guy peeing in the water is no worse than all the birds and critters that piss and crap in the pond. Also, don’t forget about all the estrogen from pills, mind altering prescription meds, and growth hormones that are making their way through the water treatment facilities, seeping into ground water, then getting pumped back up into these reservoirs.

Go back to eating your tacobell and your 32 oz. pepsi.

The common sense rule is that if you operate a soda fountain and you want to get paid for refills, then you PUT THE FOUNTAIN BEHIND THE COUNTER!!! This isn’t rocket surgery people. If a business wants to charge people more money, then they can’t leave their product open to the public.
