This Is How Americans With No Religion Feel About Abortion (Plus: Are Most Women Really Pro-Choice?)
May 16, 2013 at 10:55pm
To preface this, I am not a Christian. Neither am I an atheist. I just don’t think that any religion created by man is worth following, and they are all made up by and of men who are fallible and cruel.
That said, I believe whole heartedly in the FACT that all human beings are created equal. This is fact because it is the reality that we who believe in it choose to provide for one another. As such, I cannot say that another human being, no matter their age, can be murdered. A few more facts. The fertilization of a human egg cell with sperm creates a unique genetic sequence that has never existed before and will never exist again (ident. twins excepted). Further, once the implantation of this new life into the mother’s uterus has happened, it is an almost foregone conclusion that said human will survive to be born. Of course their are some unfortunate and terrible medical reasons why not every human being will be born. But that does not make them any less human.
For all who doubt this, go to a chicken ranch. Take a fertilized chicken egg about to hatch and crush it in your hands. Then tell the nearest person that you didn’t kill a chicken, but a “lump of cells”. If you can stomach that act, you are not a human and do not deserve to be treated as one.
The Sneaky Change to Traffic Lights in Florida That’s Now Leading to More Tickets
May 15, 2013 at 10:42pm
If public safety were ever the goal, they would add an all red period before the light for cross traffic turned green. This simple programming change would cost taxpayers nothing and has been proven to reduce intersection collisions in a meaningful way. Unlike cameras or even police at an intersection. This is all about control and money.
Shock: Deceased Bomber Suspect Was Married With a Baby — Here’s More About His Wife and Child
April 22, 2013 at 12:24am
To all of you wanting to know when the last time was that a Christian blew up people or committed mass murder, I’ll tell you that you need to read the news more often or retain what you read better.
The Murrah building bombing was perpetrated by a Christian if you believe the official story. If you don’t believe that story because of all of the first hand accounts and same day news coverage with video, then you know that our own government (one nation under God) perpetrated that mass murder and terrorist act.
Further, our military; made up of Christians, kills and murders innocents on an almost daily basis. We drop bombs on towns with little intelligence and we rejoice when we kill a single terrorist even if there are 17 civilian casualties. And most of you will have a response to this that goes something like…
But he was using those people as a human shield and so he really put them in danger, and they should have escaped him knowing this would happen. To that, I’ll simply reply with a question. What would you expect yourself and your family to do when a hostile, foreign, invasion force comes into your backyard and starts confiscating your weapons leaving you defenseless against the real terrorists that have been pushing their radical beliefs on you for years? I’ve been to Iraq and I’m one of the few who can be called a Marine. But I can still see both sides of this coin and know that we are not as pure of heart and action as most of you think.
‘There Is the Law, and There Is Reality’: Blaze Readers Weigh in on Decorated Vet Arrested After ‘Rudely Displaying’ His Rifle

As a Marine, I will be happy to tell you that you are a stunning example of why I, a law abiding, oathkeeping Marine, and Citizen; will never trust another man with a badge in my life. You speak of Citizens, your contemporaries and peers as though they are deviants. You refer to us in jargon that only other badge wearing hypocrites will understand without a google search to further distance yourself from those you SERVE. You have forgotten who pays your bills and upon whose authority you are able to perform your job. Either that or you are jaded as hell.
Personally, the night I watched a video of a fellow Marine being murdered by an Arizona SWAT team in his own home, in front of his wife and child, I took on a very though provoking perspective of you people. Ever seen that video? A man woke up from a nap after working the mine to his wife screaming about men in black jumping over the fence carrying rifles and setting off the car alarms. When he tries to defend his keep, he is shot at more than 70 times and then denied medical care for more than 2 hours as his wife has to just cradle her dying husband until he gurgles his last breath in her arms.
Don’t play this whole charade and parade yourself off as a good guy. You are just like those murderers in Arizona and your attitude proves it. I hope you never meet someone like me when you are committing one of your many acts of lawlessness. You might not survive it.
‘New York Daily News’ Criticized for Doctoring Photo of Bombing Victim’s Gruesome Leg Wound — Should They Be?
April 18, 2013 at 6:18pm
At groundzero, how do you deny all of the eyewitness accounts from people living in New York City at the time who watched 2 planes fly into the towers? How do you refute that? Also, I know that many people have said that jet fuel doesn’t burn hot enough to melt steel and so the building collapse had to be caused by another fuel source. Well, steel doesn’t have to melt to become structurally unsound. There were also many other sources of fuel in that fire than jet fuel. One such fuel was caused by the plane fuselage itself coming into direct contact with the steel of the building that was no doubt slightly oxidized. Iron oxide and aluminum make thermite and they burn with great enough intensity to melt anything short of an industrial crucible.
Face it, the attacks happened and the planes hit the towers. Now, if you want to argue that the gov’t colluded with the attackers and that they were trained using the money sent to al quaeda by the CIA, then that is another story altogether. But the attacks happened. I’m somewhat of a conspiracy guru too, but you are way out there. Hell, I have friends whose parents were in the Murrah building bombing and I still think that the gov’t had something to do with that. But then again, I’ve seen the first hand accounts putting Tim in the building with “FBI” agents the week preceding the events and the video showing that there were 3 men in the truck, not just 2.
The ‘Man on the Roof’ and 4 Other Conspiracy Theories Surrounding the Boston Bombings
April 16, 2013 at 10:22pm
The definition of a terrorist is one who uses violence or the threat of violence to sway political change in their favor. Since no person or group has taken advantage of this attack to publicly push their political agenda, this is not an act of terrorism. Instead, it is simply an act of murder, attempted murder, and heinous gruesomeness. The individual who planned and acted out these attacks is a criminal. Not a terrorist. It may seem like semantics, but we need to call a spade a spade and be certain in our language.
‘I Don’t Trust the Government’: Ted Nugent Tells CNN What He Thinks of Senate’s Gun Bill (and Recommends Eric Holder Be Arrested)

How about we stop criminalizing non-criminal behavior and start going back to real justice. You know, the kind where you pay with your life for murdering a person in cold blood or where you get whipped for stealing. No jail time would be necessary if a person knew they would be subjected to a leather lash traveling at mach speed if they mugged an old lady or committed an assault. No, the only thing jail does is act as a school for criminals. They get to hang out all day with nothing to do but trade stories and swap criminal anecdotes and the whole time they are getting better at being a bad guy. No, jail should only be used for short time spans and it should all be solitary. And it shouldn’t be used for nonviolent offenses. There is nothing gained by putting a man who is unable to pay a parking ticket in jail. It does not serve the community or the individual. The same goes for the nonviolent drug user. It does no one any good to put these people behind bars to fester hate in their souls and contempt for the society in which they live. Oh, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out that it costs far more to put a man in jail than most know, and currently 3% of the US adult population is in prison, on parole, or under some kind of correctional supervision.
Rep. Jason Chaffetz Makes More Startling Border Discoveries: ‘Worst Thing I’ve Seen’
April 4, 2013 at 7:31am
Why are American children forced to have medical procedures? Really, just think about this. If you want your child inoculated for every disease, then do it and leave everyone else alone. If your child is immune to a disease, why would you give a damn whether or not his classmates are? Oh, and I hope that you realize that we spent years pumping infants with mercury containing shots and if you go to the store you can find “nursery water” advertised with a rattle and teddy bear that bears a large label saying that it is fluoridated. Since when on God’s green earth has it ever been necessary to lace children’s drinking water with neurotoxins on the premise of tooth health when they will just lose their baby teeth anyway?

‘Just Absurd’: VA Cops Were Refused Restaurant Service Because of Their Guns
March 28, 2013 at 4:56pm
@ JCL, you claim to be an officer and that all officers have the obligation to protect the people around them and the general populace whether they are on or off duty…
Well buddy, the facts are against you. Police enforce egregious and unconstitutional laws on a daily basis. They have a history of shooting people without threat or cause. They systemically conduct unlawful searches and seizures of private property without proper search warrants (which require the place to be searched and object to be found with the testimony of a witness). And to top it all off, there is a Supreme Court ruling that says that officers are not obligated to come to the aid of anyone whatsoever! So you can take your gross misunderstanding of the world and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine. Especially when you say that a civilian doesn’t compare with an officer in their ability to carry and wield a weapon.
I am a civilian. I am also a Marine Corps veteran. I also happen to have been a marksmanship instructor and a range safety officer. So next time you try telling someone that you are so much better than them, shut your mouth, and just remember every slimy no good thing you have ever done and eat a piece of humble pie.
