You’re right Sgt. Cookies, the founding fathers put up with tyranny for 20 years. But we’ve been living under tyranny for more than a century!!! So get off your soap box and get out of our way. You are akin to a loyalist. You are partially to blame for there not being a fix to this situation already. But then again, you’re just like most people. As long as tyranny is sufferable, you will suffer through it and be a good little slave. Did you ever wonder how a plantation owner could command the obedience of hundreds of slaves? It’s because they were all people like you.

Anyone that doesn’t know that the U.S. spends 37% of the WORLD’S military spending would find this news. To those of us in the know, we already took it as a foregone conclusion and expected this to turn up. You see, we’ve been supplanting foreign governments for more than a century using the military industrial complex and a thick veil of smoke and lies to cover it up.

You sound rational and sane. How can that be? You aren’t with the government are you? How can I trust you if you aren’t with the government and your word isn’t backed with the full force of the U.S. military police state?

What are you talking about? If you are talking about pot users having to pay more for healthcare, then you are surely mistaken. Smoking marijuana has been proven to have a zero increase in the risk of developing cancer when not altered or tampered with. Further, they generally seek less medical assistance because they are self medicating and not buying mind altering drugs from a pharmacist with the subsidization of their medical insurer. So really, they probably have lower healthcare costs.

Did you miss the part where it shows that we pay almost 40% of ALL MILITARY SPENDING ON THE ENTIRE GOD FORSAKEN PLANET!!! We need to cut our military spending a hell of alot more and stop going on corporate imperialism ventures.

Who gives a flying rip? As far as this Marine is concerned, the Iranian people have every right to be pissed at the U.S. We overthrew their democratically elected gov’t with a benevolent monarch figurehead (like Britain) for corporate gain and supplanted it with a dictatorship which led to an overthrow of the dictatorship by the formation of the Islamic Republic, whose main tenant of governance was that all people had to be ruled by Islamic Jurists.

The “greatest generation” really screwed up this world in their quest to build corporations through the use of our military might and if any of you ever read a book, you’d know that. I suggest that you start with a book by one of the most highly decorated Marines in history. Go read a book by Smedley Butler.

And who made it that way? Seriously, do you think the children are responsible for the way they were raised? If you have a problem with the way the current generation is, then you need to look to the generation or two before because the parents and grandparents stopped doing their jobs!

Looks more like a lens glare to me. But, then again, I’m not paid to write for the blaze on a daily basis.

That was a representative from Twitter. Obviously, that rep. didn’t know that the NSA and nearly every nation’s spy agency around the world is recording internet traffic and backing it up for potential prosecution. BTW, anyone catch the new Captain America and the NSA themed presence of Hydra?

Good thing she is in the Netherlands and not in the US. If she were here, she’d be in jail already without bail and be swiftly convicted by a judge without jury trial or a lawyer under the “Patriot Act” and she would be put on death row. At least if she goes to jail in the Netherlands she will be comfortable and won’t face the death penalty for being a dumb kid playing a terrible joke.

Get a life. This is a 14 year old girl from the Netherlands for christ sake. She is probably delirious from having 10 months of winter every year. Also, if she were in the United States, she should be protected under the first amendment as she made no specific threat and did not physically endanger the lives of anyone.

I think that people like you have exactly no common sense and that you all are the reason why we continue to live in a police state that worships the police force which murders your own neighbors and airs the footage on a nightly basis in syndicated primetime programming and when it isn’t caught on tape, the scenes are recreated by actors and the whole thing is narrated by a smooth talking “reporter” on Dateline or 20/20.

There is no justification for local police to be using MRAPS. These vehicles are grossly over cost, cost too much to maintain (see white elephant), destroy the city roads that they will be expected to travel on, and they are the militarization of police. Any one of these is enough to justify that they should not be used.

    Correct Sir.

Faith in what? Faith in humanity? Faith in the scientific method? Faith in a God? Faith in my marriage? What are you talking about?

My only positive experiences with black people have been with older generations that don’t put up with hoodlum behavior, with black people whom are actually from Africa where they don’t have the gangsta culture, and with a single Ron Paul supporter and his son in a 7-eleven when he saw me in a Ron Paul shirt and pointed that fact out to his son whom then smiled at me and waved. Nice people.

5 bucks says that he was diagnosed with ADD or ADHD and his parents had him on a methamphetamine derivative like alot of parents do now. They should just feel lucky that this was a scrawny 16 year old that went haywire and not one of the giant 300+ lb football players or a grown woman even. The results would be far worse. It sounds like he did alot of straight thrusts to the gut, but not alot of slashing or tearing once his knife penetrated his victims. That is good news for those victims, but to me, it means that he wasn’t really trying to kill them. Someone whom was really intent on killing people would have left them with wounds in other places (neck or inner thigh have major arteries) or wider gut wounds. They are seriously lucky no one has died yet.

Even in California, you could get your @55 beat for this kind of thing. Especially in the right locale. I wouldn’t suggest that you do anything similar south of LA or east of I-15. There are enough military members around that area from the Marine Corps and Navy bases that you are just asking for it.

Ok, if you don’t know anything about military rank, I can see why this might not just fall together for you like it does for me. The rank of specialist is extremely low for a 34 year old man on active duty. The ranks go private, private first class, then specialist and so on. Normally, a 34 year old is at the rank of Staff Sergeant or Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps. A few might be that old and still be a Sergeant, but if they haven’t attained Staff Sergeant within 10 years of being a Sergeant, they are usually led out of the service. So it is obvious to me that this individual whom is a 34 y/o specialist has problems. Maybe all of his problems were related to PTSD from watching events that I can’t imagine unfold, if that is found to be the case, then you had better hope that our servicemen and women stop getting abused by this system. If on the other hand, all of his problems were self created, such as drug problems, dui’s, fraternization or sexual harassment; and that is the reason for his rank being so low, then the reason why he did this is clear. Truthfully, I don’t know which is the case, but either way makes sense and both reasoning’s hinge upon the fact that his commanders did not take care of this individual properly and with due diligence.

I recently had a discussion with a younger college student after he said something to the effect of “you don’t have to be an electrical engineer to be an electrician”, that got us talking about how my family is in the electrical contracting industry and he asked if I was a member of the IBEW. I proudly said that I wasn’t and that we liked working 12 months out of the year and not having to go find work after each project completion. Then I asked if he was an apprentice or a journeyman, to which he replied that he didn’t make the cut to be an apprentice the year that he applied to the union, so he enrolled in union sanctioned training programs instead! I had to laugh at him and all I could say was that while he was paying the union to learn the trade, I was giving free lessons and OJT to anyone that would apply at our company and work hard. He didn’t know how to take the fact that he just wasted a year of his life for not.

I think it’d be great to see union slugs without jobs, yes.
